Blind Item #4

A lot of revisionist history with this former A+ list mostly movie actress with an Oscar win/nomination and her dealings with the disgraced producer. Everyone in the industry knows how she got a certain role and how she got that nomination.

    2. Good Morning Tricia13! I never knew that. Thank you so much for the quick version. I probably would have enjoyed it more without her "acting." I wonder how many movies have been ruined this way

    1. Script was sent to WinonaRyder. Paltrow phones her agent and demanded an audition. Which was more of an “audition”

  3. Worked out pretty well for her.

  4. Tilda Swinton could have done it. Kiera Knightley....the list goes on.

Oh she was couched. So was Mira Sorvino. Both sets of their parents sobbed their hearts out at the respective Oscars. Now we know why.

    1. Mira won for a Woody Allen movie that Harvey had nothing to do with.

  7. If this is suppose to be Goop...A+ list???...really?!?!?!

  8. @James, It explains every time you see someone with no acting ability surrounded by incredible actors and actresses. As a kid I could never figure out why they would put someone so untalented in something that could have been great. 😅

Goop was supposed to be one of Harvey's girls right?

    1. I remember back in the 90s watching an episode of Frasier. One of the supporting actresses performed her line readings so horribly that it was jarring. It just stood out like a sore thumb and I couldn't figure out how in the hell this woman was cast. A few months later I recognized her in an entertainment news clip about Kelsey Grammer. She was his new wife. Big lesson for me in how Hollywood really worked.

she won an oscar, emmy, golden globe and 2 SAGs with films that made $8B worldwide and was the face of several actual high fashion brands so yes FORMER A+

Despite the fact that she became a controversial sham....she still was A+ list...hence the "former"

  10. Doesn't he have videos of her f*cking him or something? There was something about a$$ in them.

  11. It's interesting that these couched actresses want this to go to court. If I were Goop and the rest, I'd be nervous about what will come out during the trial. I'm sure he's got proof somewhere - video, pictures, etc.

  12. Yes, it's a pretty salacious but kind of known secret in Hollywood that Winona had that part in the bag, Goop found out about it and "auditioned" the next day, cutting Winona out of the movie. That's why they aren't friends.

  13. She saw an opportunity to get ahead and jumped on it- and is staying quiet. Good for her. And only because everyone here wants to know my take on this **once again**
most here would do it too. Financial freedom to take (what surely would be) a small weiner for five minutes?
Hell yess sign me up IM OUT THIS BITCH.
I'd deal with the moral repercussions while I wasn't working my job.

  14. Nominate Natalie Portman. If Gywneth, guess Winona is grateful todayl that Goop stole that script.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I thought Goop was friends with winona and found the script at winona's house. She read it and decided it was for her. Now she was supposedly working covertly for the metoo's and totally a victim

  16. Renee Zellweger gave an interview that was published yesterday about how she wasn't a victim of his and didn't really deal with him.

  17. Paltrow took the couch.

  18. Could also be Jennifer Lawrence for any or all of her roles. She’s also a Harvey girl.

Harvey Weinstein would have been easy career path for an actress. He's probably got a small dick. He probably lasts all of two minutes. He doesn't ask for more than to watch most of the time. He takes a definite hard "NO" for an answer.
What's the point of denying it?
I would have sure as F done it if I had been a young female actress at the time. Watch a horny guy take a shower? Big deal. He's going to make sure I get to audition for a role that I would have never even been in the same universe for? Bonus!
His big downfall was that he didn't always seem to follow through with promises made to actresses, but even he could not do the impossible. The successful "Harvey Girls" for the most part could still pull off the role. You can't blame Harvey if Paz de la Huerta or someone like her just could not get a specific role because she was wrong for it.
I have heard one or two disturbing stories about Harvey "forcing" but that's still unproven. Until proven guilty he's innocent. Smarmy but innocent.
There are much worse things going on in Hollywood and the world than what Harvey Weinstein was doing. Even Epstein is a drop in the bucket to what is happening with the elitist above the law monsters.

  23. Looks like everyone here now agrees #metoo is bullshit.

Took some longer than others, but that's no surprise.

  24. Doesn’t Harvey have footage of him & Goop having sex? blackmail material

  26. Yeah it was during the Goop and Winona hanging because of dating Ben and Matt days. Paltrow was pre-emptive in her saying he tried to assault her and Brad stepped in with Weinstein. That way she can't and won't DENY he ever tried anything but it looks like she was a victim who took the high road and ran, devastated. If Brad had done this and Gwyneth run and tattled she would NOT have been a Weinstein muse slash client slash darling the way it turned out. I don't mind celebrity kids or anyone deciding they want to do what they want to do OR feel forced into it. I feel for them and the situation but once you start being SO HIGH AND MIGHT and point fingers and deflect over and over and be self righteous and a liar like she is (she smokes, etc etc and is somehow a HEALTHY brand she advocates all organics etc and we know she is SELLING this but doesn't live it) you lose ALL credibility and you become a hypocrite all around.

  27. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 06, 2017: One of the more famous incidents of an actress stealing a role was documented on the site about 7 or 8 years ago. It got the at the time A+ list actress who stole the role/Gwyneth Paltrow an Academy Award/Shakespeare in Love. What is never mentioned about that role stealing is that the actress who was A list back in the day the role was stolen from/Winona Ryder had already slept with Harvey a handful of times to land the role. Hey, at least she has that hit almost television show/Stranger Things and a gif that will last forever.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 05, 2018: With all apologies to every celebrity sex tape out there, the fact there exists somewhere, this particular recording would probably be the most watched ever. It would be the one that you would have to watch in 30 second increments as to not vomit every time you see the guy in it. It involves this back in the day A+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner who is still A list even though she really only plays one role these days/Gwyneth Paltrow. The recording was made two decades ago when she was up for a certain role/Shakespeare in Love.

  28. Considering the #MeToo attorney now works for domestic violence poster-pig Amber Heard, I'd say for sure #MeToo is now horseshit. As long as Casting-Couch-Climbers like Goop and DV perpetrators like Heard are protected like Weinstein was..eff-it

  29. During this time, Goop was cheating on Brad Pitt and he called off the engagement because of it...I wonder if the final straw that ended it was the fact that he defended Goop against Weinstein, only to find out she had a sexual encounter with Weinstein to get a part. No wonder the filthy bitch steams her vag and is seeking some sort of healthy redemption in life. Her greatest accomplishment was bought with that vag

  30. @SeijnSei, Knightley would have been 12 or maybe 13 when it was filmed, probably 11 when the script was passed around.

Goop did not just get the part, she literally stole it from her friend via the couch.

  31. J-Law was a Harvey girl and a Russell girl and an Aronofsky girl.

  32. Ugh, don't tell me the Harvey shills are back. Apparently if you f*cked him then he tried to do right by you, sometimes making careers. If you refused to f*ck him then supposedly he tried to rape you or ruin your career. Just because the former is true it doesn't make the later false.

  33. WTF does Weinstein have to do with the Hunger Games. Nina Jacobson was
the producer and owned the rights to the Hunger Games.

  36. Thank God for #metoo !

It showed how much sexism has destroyed promising women's careers, or ended the, and brought down:

In just two years, #metoo has brought down: Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, Louis CK, Steve Wynn, Travis Smiley, Garrison Keillor, Dustin Hoffman, R Kelly, Les Moonves, JEFFREY EPSTEIN. Many more to go in all industries.

  42. @Thia

According to several sources, Winona Ryder and Paltrow were room mates. Ryder had the script to Shakespeare in Love lying out. The role was as good as hers until Paltrow read it and got the role via the casting couch.
