Well according to Enty Zayn is a permanent junkie so I doubt the idea was ever on the table, presumably he's hoping 'partying' on Geffen's yacht will keep his career alive. When you consider the Jonas Bros. came back with a #1 album and a sold out arena tour, that's serious money left on the table.
Harry has his second album coming out soon. I assume he thinks it will do better than the first album, which it probably won't, because it doesn't have the novelty factor behind it. I saw Harry's show when it came to town, but I almost never listen to his album any more. It didn't have legs.
Although I never liked Zayn, he's put out some good music.
Louis Tomlinson actually has a good song out now - "Kill My Mind" - which despite its awful name, has an Oasis-like vibe and sounds like nothing else on the radio right now. I like it.
A couple of the band members are drugged out messes and are in no condition to tour. They all have some level of success,so they shouldn't unless they are all in,not just for money.
Zayn may be drugged out, but the others (Louis, Niall, Liam) are all producing music and touring. Both Liam and Louis played a big festival in Madrid last weekend.
BTW, Liam seems to be slowly leaking details of the band's demise. He said in a recent interview that whenever there was a conflict in the band, Niall Horan always said he was "on the fence."
"His ass must really be painful from sitting on that fence so much," Liam told an interviewer.
To be fair, when I was in Jr. HS I was a big NKOTB fan. They reunited when I was in my late 20's (I'm now 41) and they usually do a tour every summer since and they have sold out stadiums (saw their first reunion show at MSG). I just saw them in July in Newark, NJ at the Prudential Center and it was completely sold out.
I agree with MissPeach. I think One Direction can easily wait 10 years for a comeback.
They're in the "we don't like each other and we still have enough money" stage right now.
If you see the shots of Liam and Louis together in Spain last weekend, they don't look very chummy. They're posing together, but you could drive a small vehicle between them. Just Jared has the shots.
I remember reading a year or so ago that police forces and security companies in the UK say that bybfar the worst gigs to police are the reunion tours of 90s boyband Take That (UK's NKOTB pretty much).
The potent mixture of granny knickered 40something women ripped to their drooping tits on a potent mixture of Lambrusco, menopausal meds, sexual frustration and lust for a small gaggle of podgy middle aged blokes badly miming on stage is more explosive than a firework display in a napalm factory.
@Vic - Sounds like a health & safety nightmare. All those women with poor bone density shattering their hips slipping on the wet floors they themselves created.
