This former A list mostly television actress who starred in an iconic role still watched constantly on streaming is a movie star. The thing is, she is probably only A- list in movies. Back in the day she had a topless scene cut from a movie and then sent cease and desist letters to websites who got stills of the deleted scene and posted them. Now though, she is set to do a topless scene to prove a point. Lets see if it stays in this time or if it is just part of her publicity onslaught at the moment.

But, dating Brad Pitt/ whole divorce helped her profile exponentially. Otherwise, I think she would have gone more the route of Courtney Cox or Lisa. And yah, her body is definitely better than Angi's ever was though. Still this seems just like a publicity push to generate hype.....who knows if it will actually happen? or if it was actually a body double lol
ReplyDeletei agree, teehee. i think if she and brad hadn't become an item, the rest of her career wouldn't have happened. when they got together, i was like 'really? her?' because he was hot at that time. unlike now. she does have an incredible body---one of those genetic gifts, i believe---but she's never been a great actress. she's fine in light comedy but she's tried and failed at drama, IMO.

It doesn’t really seem “empowering” to me, that so much of so called feminism/women’s liberation, whatever, is focused on women having the “freedom” to take off their clothes.

i too never understood why jen was so overh yped. i love her personality and i do think she's great at her job (niche actress) but i don't think her face is anything to write home about. not that that matters, though. to me, she is that kind of girl— the drew barrymore type. the huge personality, whatever/weird face type.
