Deletei read something a day or so ago that the recent death of this accuser wont stop the case. i also read that spaceys legal team filed the death certificate with the court in their case. no shame
ReplyDeleteThey're seeking an estate to be named in his place. They had tried to get the John Doe's identity revealed before -- I'm unclear, reporting makes it sound like this was ordered yet a judge allowed the identity to be kept confidential.
DeleteSetting aside all the troubling aspects of accusers dying left and right out of the blue -- I thought the whole court system thing was rooted in knowing who your accuser is? Has that changed?
Bleu: the State is the accuser in criminal cases. Otherwise, for example, how could anyone ever get tried and convicted for murder...?
