Blind Items Revealed #2

October 5, 2019

For years I have been telling you that the permanent A list mostly movie actor with multiple Oscar nominations/wins and another on the way is not the person you see portrayed in his carefully crafted image. Some of that came out this week via a former back in the day A+ list actor.

Tom Hanks/Henry Winkler

  1. Sorry, but if Chet Haze is your kid, something is deeply wrong with you.

    1. Colin Hanks -- I don't know about his real self but he has a strange persona and pretty destroyed everything he appeared in (presumably because of his connections -- he was in Dexter and also played that creepy pastor on Mad Men that bugged Peggy).

    2. I went to high school with him. He was VERY full of himself.

  3. "Roadkill on Route 66? I hope not!" - Hanks Instagram right before Isaac Kappy died from falling off a bridge on Route 66. Kappy had accused him of pedophilia all over Twitter.

Hanks is a lunatic and an a-hole according to my friend who has had to deal with him professionally.

Shame, I used to love the guy! Bachelor Party is one of the best.

  4. The actual story is that Tom Hanks, who was the star of the project, asked Disney to fire Henry Winkler, the original director of Turner and Hooch, after two weeks. Disney did fire him and had him replaced by seasoned director Roger Spottiswoode. Actually, Winkler was considering at the time a move from acting to directing, just like Ron Howard had done earlier. He actually directed two feature films (in addition to a few TV episodes), which were poorly received. He had more success as a producer, as he was involved with creating and producing MacGyver, even if we're definitely not talking about Imagine Productions levels of success.

Stuff like that happen regularly in film production. Turner and Hooch isn't exactly a classic, but Spottiswoode most likely did a better job than what Winkler would have done, which resulted in a better box office. It was still a dick move from Hanks, and something that definitely hurt Winkler, who is, from all accounts, a nice guy.

That said, the fact that Winkler refuses today to discuss this story isn't necessarily a sign, as you all pray for, of Tom Hanks being a poser and a fraud for everything in life. Winkler may prefer not to discuss this unpleasant event today because he found some acceptance that he wasn't meant to be a major director, and that it's simplistic to blame it all on a whim by Hanks. When something doesn't work, somebody has to take responsibility and to talk about it. Even if it comes from somebody you regarded as a friend.

    1. Tom Hanks also had a character in Happy Days, not to mention the two of them having been in the same industry and circles since the 1970s.

    2. Tho things like this happen in HW...the real question remains why dis HW like that? Like legit what could Winkler have really done?

Tom Hanks creeps me out and I have an extremely accurate CreepOMeter.

  7. I do have to say that yes I agree in that what was to be if Winkler WAS a bad director which has sorta been proven by some of his other projects? Was it crappy of Hanks to get him fired or brave/going out on a limb? I am sure Tom isn't as scandal and bad free as his image but have we ever considered maybe it was a leap of faith to go against the "Fonz" In saying he wasn't right for it? I totally think there is more to Tom but just because he got a director fired who maybe SHOULD have been fired doesn't mean he is a conniver? What would any of us do we if had an imcompetent boss? You can go out on a limb and express it OR you can tow the line and fear for another tanking movie to hurt your OWN career? This ins't as black and white as we think. I DO think Winkler is beloved and a good guy with great talents but maybe he is a crappy director. In which which suddenly this takes on different context.

  9. All I know is Henry Winkler is almost 100% loved by anyone who has ever dealt with him. I don't know that to be true about Hanks, although it certainly seems like it's possible.

  10. Tom Hanks is probably nervous these days since his name crops a lot on pedophile sites like voat pizzagate.

  11. Sara Ruth Ashcroft outed Hanks on Twitter as a pedophile. Her dad sold her to Hanks when she was 12 or 13. His Twitter has all kinds of weird pictures of one kid shoe , which is supposedly a pedophile symbol..

  12. @ Unknown, at this point I think any huge Hollywood A lister is capable of horrific things but ONE twitter person is no proof. You should see others jumping on the bandwagon to really validate this and she has been discredited many times (although not saying UN fairly but it is just the case). Celebrities, guilty or not, DO have high enough profiles to be targets so while we shouldn't default toward them being amazing and innocent, no more should we default to them being bad guys.

  13. come on give us more than " he's different then his image" what kind of different, he's an asshole and stuck up, he's a sleazy woman raper like Cosby and Harvey, or is he a pedo?

I've always been a big fan of mine but the fact that there is never anything bad said about him it makes me wonder. He's a big wig in Hollywood and to be one of those you have to do some nasty things ....

  14. Hanks' PR firm must be paying by the word.

  15. Omg I hope those of you that are being forced to come to this site, despite hating it so much, have a way to contact the authorities! Praying for your safe deliverance from whoever is forcing you to come here every day and complain endlessly 🙏🏻😢

  16. I would like to see some more dirt from Enty, so far I haven't seen any receipts. Hanks has associated with some shady people but so has most of Hollywood, haven't heard of him specifically doing anything.

  17. Is everything a pedo symbol, I can't keep track. It is interesting how pedos like to congregate and associate with each other. As if they can convince each other that they're somehow normal instead of the stunted serial killers they truly are.

It's always interesting when a paedo is outed to see who they are friends with.
This is usually when others are exposed to.
It was quite an eye opener when Jimmy Savile was unmasked.

  18. People are forgetting Winkler isn't a nice guy either, he's also the "producer" of Disney shows, and at the very least enable MacKenzie Phillips using again, if not caused it depending on who you listen to.

  19. Tom Hanks touched my testicle once and called it Wilson.
As I swam away from him in the swimming pool he kept shouting "Wilson!"
    Probably.

  20. Why forced? It's a delight to come here. It just takes mentioning common sense arguments and then see a bunch of "free-willed" idiots complain about not having some kind of safe space for white supremacist and hateful views they can't even express properly.

Yeah, Tom Hanks told someone some day to fuck off. That's evidence enough he's a pedo, because I already wrote that 500 times here, and I don't like being wrong. Makes total sense...

  22. Pretty old news, the Henry Winkler story. Wouldn't use that as evidence of anything. OTOH, I've never thought the Hanks image was all that "nice." He seems like he's stealth mean and kind of snide. One of those people who will revel in the "brutal truth" about others while exempting themselves from any such brutality.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Why would a someone pretend to be a woman (not trans) and then question why people doubt their arguments? They don't even hide it on their profile. Is it some sort of devil's advocate arrangement to drum up comments for the blog?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Oh, dear... Once again the "Angela the man" dimwit argument. You're really getting mileage from this, aren't you?

    Define "pretend"...

I've always presented myself as a man, who simply uses a female name as an alias. If you think it's more of a deal-breaker than denying most of humanity any degree of dignity, like some other people here do, go suck a dick (but not mine, I'm not interested).

  26. “white supremacy” = the radical idea that white people have a right to exist. Or alternatively, “white supremacy” = anyone with any viewpoints or opinions that liberals and other NPC PC true believers, don’t share or approve of. But of course, you can believe whatever you’d like about me and screech about white supremacy as much as you’d like. For some reason you think it’s some “gotcha” label, like anyone you accuse of being a “white supremacist” should immediately jump on the defensive and try and prove you wrong. Lol as if your opinions of me matter 😆. It’s just so amusingly arrogant and narcissistic, but also strangely fascinating. What creates creatures like you? What fuels you to come on here and complain endlessly about this site, wallowing in the muck with the inferior proles you so despise? Shouldn’t someone soooo superior and intelligent and just plain A GOOD PERSON (TM) be doing “good person things”? Oh Angela the man, you’re such a mystery!

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Angela, Well you've never given a real reason for choosing a female screen name while identifying in your profile as a man, not even like you were born Angela but identify as a man.

See that's the funny thing, you almost never present yourself as a man.
Regulars know about you, but newbies and others don't. So it's fun to bang that drum when you get too preachy.

I don't know what your agenda is or why you come here. You obviously don't like CDAN or Enty, and apparently don't think much of the readers or the other commenters.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oh jesus christ, trolls please go back to the DM & agree with yourself & your multiple sock accounts there.

Enty does block folks here, so yes you are most likely about to be blocked soon.

  29. Who are you? Never saw you before, “Andi”. Maybe you are a sock puppet yourself? 🤔🤔🤔

  30. Winkler must be paying Enty. This is more of joke than a rumor, and Winkler got himself fired from Turner & Hooch, but always blamed Hanks.

  32. I like Tom Hanks as an actor (major fan of the Toy Story franchise), but from my limited professional interaction with him, he’d rather just pay a ton of money to pretend his younger kids’ f-ups never happened than actually face the reality that he enables them. Chet, from all first-person accounts, is exactly how he is portrayed in the tabloids and hasn’t changed at all (Tom is just spending more money on trying to make it seem like his son is becoming an adult, when he’s still pre-kidnap Malibu’s Most Wanted).

  33. I was in a Panda Express in Pacific Palisades with Tom Hanks and his son (I think) about a dozen years or so ago. He was very polite to the people who came up to him, but it was pretty obvious that he really didn't want to be talking to them. I also saw Henry Winkler putting money in a parking meter in Downtown LA once. Based on these close, personal friendships I'd have to say that I have no idea if this is true or not, and I've always thought Henry Winkler was one of the most beloved guys in Hollywood by those in the know, kind of the Weird Al of the TV industry.

I'm such a big fan of his work.

  34. @Brayson87

Do you have any fucking clue of how common your strategy? "Justify yourself about this, justify yourself about that, justify yourself about, well, I don't know, I'll find something soon". That's just clouding the issue, as you don't have anything to say on it.

And the issue is that Henry Winkler's reaction when interviewed "proves" nothing at all about the crimes you want to accuse Tom Hanks of, just because he isn't of your political side. That's why I posted a few articulate words of explanation in the early messages, because that's what matters. To allow people, especially newbies or casual readers, to make their own opinion, rather than piling them with validation until there's an overwhelming majority attesting that the story is true, as the regulars here desperately try. That's a very common strategy by the alt-right to give credence to their canards.

By the way, class act Henry Winkler is still best friends with Ron Howard (Arrested Development, their Funny or Die clip with Andy Griffith from 2008 to campaign for Obama, etc.). Ron Howard has worked FIVE TIMES with Tom Hanks as a director, and that hasn't been much of a problem to Winkler. And if he refuses to discuss the 1988 incident, that may be because he knows perfectly that crybabies such as you would blow it out of proportion.

Also, are you really a Brayson? Prove you're not a fraud. There are many people who are deceived by someone like you using that name, yada yada yada
See how easy it is to apply the same strategy on you?

  35. Hey Angela. Good to see you are still around. Simply stopping by to remind others they don't have sovereignty over the boards nor the regal abilities to make anyone else justify themselves for being here.
