Blind Item #5

Some other cast members who rely on conventions and signings to make a living are not thrilled that the foreign born A- list mostly movie actor trashed the franchise that made him a star.

  4. RPatt is trying to break the Twilight typecasting. This was a snippet of the interview - he is dissing the concept. His opinion - his risk.

  5. This is not new behavior from him. He's been dissing both the books and the movies since he was cast in the role.

  6. Yeah this bastard will come around when he's geezing and needs those conventions for pocket money.

  8. It's funny that a guy who got big playing a vampire thinks playing Batman is a real departure.

  9. Brayson I didn't know geezing was a verb. Like it, and will try doing it.

  11. Twilight wasnt exactly oscar worthy it was a guilty pleasure cash grab for teens and mommy porn fans ...they are taking it too serious

  12. @J, I see there's a couple of different definitions, I always heard it more like aging, like a geezer.

  13. @TeeHee, A wealthy dark brooding male who harbors a dangerous secret, has messed up enemies and will most likely avoid sex with any romantic interests. Am I talking about Edward Cullen or Bruce Wayne, I don't even know.

  14. @Brayson geezing is genius, love it! And at my age I come across many to whom this could apply, so I'll be using it if you're ok with it

  15. Okay, I'm just gonna come out and confess that I used to be a huge Twilight fan. I'm still a fan of some of the cast, but every book and movie sucked horribly, IMHO. I guess I was just a fan of the fanfiction...anyway, with that being said:

Rob has made a habit of dissing franchises since he was in a Harry Potter movie. He dissed the Twilight books and movies the entire time he made them, as well. He even said he would never be in another franchise after Twilight.

But I doubt the cast has much of a problem with him dissing Twilight. Enty once said that the only way Ashley Greene would ever be seen at anything related to Twilight was if she was kidnapped. Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone both have other stuff going on and I am pretty sure Jackson comes from an old oil family in Texas so I doubt he needs money. Both of them, and Peter Facinelli are really open to doing Twilight cons. They've all been to multiple "Twilight Forever In Forks" events in Forks Washington every September for a weekend adjacent to the 13th, which is Bella's birthday. EVERY cast member knows how much Rob hated Edward Cullen, Twilight and the entire lot of it...they expect stuff like this interview from him and his fans who are 'sessed think he's the MOST GIFTED ACTOR OF THE WORLD. LMFAO

  18. He needs to watch GalaxyQuest...there might be a group of underground vampires who depend on the legend of the good Cullen clan, and might seek his help one day!

  19. What did William Shatner say now?

  20. I think it's low class, you chose the role. The man became extremely wealthy from Twilight. Anyone can find something good to say. Why pretend it wasn't a great career move for him.

  21. @E, Whatever you'd like, I didn't come up with it and I doubt the people I heard it from came up with it either 😅

  22. @TeeHee, Years from now Pattinson will probably talk sh!t about playing Batman too, he wouldn't be the first Batman to diss it.

Honestly I feel Enty is trying to make a mountain out of a molehill with this situation.

And although I am a Big Fan of Twilight & always will be.

Overall I don't really feel what He said about Twilight was that bad - Not to mention He has said a lot of this already before.

As for whether or not Batman will do well ?

I think it will but at the same time I don't think it's going to be up there with Christopher Nolan's Batman Series.

But even if Batman does end up doing so, so at The Box Office - Overall I don't think He will have to worry about His Career too much since Warner Brothers clearly likes Him & He will be in Christopher's Nolan's New Film as well.

It's Kristen Stewart's Career that needs worrying.

  24. Old news. He's allowed to hate Twilight. It was awful and i was a fan. Actors make horrible movies in the beginning of their career to get their foot in the door. He has proven his worth in the other movies hes done but i imagine a lot of people havent watched any of them bc god forbid you watch something with the guy from Twilight in it.

  25. honestly don't see why he should pretend he thinks those movies were any good. i'd imagine they made him enough money to last three lifetimes, and it's not like he was very good at hiding his contempt for them while he was starring in them

  26. The only movie I ever liked him in was Remember Me. How he and Kristen "no range" Stewart keep getting roles is beyond me!

  27. I read the books, and although they are young adult books, so wouldn't be loved by adults in mass, I really enjoyed them. I found the movies cringeworthy, as the acting was horrible (by everyone, not just the secondary cast), and the first movie had a bootleg budget so it looked like it was shot on a home video camera. I like Rob, but he should not bite the hand that fed him.

  28. @MissPeach, The books were decent, at least it was a somewhat original take on vampires. The last book was a little meh but made sense given the author and what was going on in her life at the time. Could not make it through the movies though.

  29. the only reason Pattinson did that circus movie is he wanted to work with Sean Penn, then penn was replaced with christoph waltz so R PATZ was so bored he fucked Reese with her spoon
