Blind Item #12

As I told you when they announced they were quitting touring, it was all lies to sell more tickets on that last tour. Now, the former A list group is ticked off at another group for announcing the tour. Apparently it was going to be a big surprise. Umm, at least two of the stadiums had it on their own websites prior to the announcement. The dating show hair band guy has been also talking about it for months.

    1. Definitely slumming. The hairdo bands are just wanky poseurs.

  10. Fantastic, more overpriced hasbeen band tours to avoid. What's the senior citizen discount on those tickets again?

  11. It's definately motley crue and this isn't a blind. those of us who are aging rock fans and read blabbermouth (for the comedy facebook comment, I might add) already knew this. Nikki Sixx has been bitching left, right and center about it.

  12. I'd pay to see Def Leppard (again) and Joan Jett, but I'm entirely okay with skipping Motley Crue altogether.

  13. Guy Lombard’s Royal Canadiens?

  14. This is Motley Crue and the Black Crowes. The Black Crowes' manager leaked the Crue reunion and got himself fired over it. Nikki Sixx had some sarcastic comment about it quoted in Variety.

  15. +1@The Moon Horse. The dating show hair band guy is of course Brett Michaels. So much for never touring again. I would like to see the contract for the last tour. Class action lawsuit anyone?

  16. I have seen Brett Michaels twice in the past five years and both times he said he was putting together a big tour.

  17. I saw Motley Crue and KISS at an outdoor amphitheater in July in Dallas. The area with seats had a metal roof, as did the stage. If you've never been to Dallas in the heat of the summer ... It's akin to the temp inside Satan's colon after $15 worth of Taco Bell. Motley Crue was first and Vince had to sit down part way through the set. He would just meander back and forth between sitting on the drum kit risers and downstate to slowly ambulate to the sides of the stage, sweating balls, sucking wind and overall looking like he was going to stroke out or have a heart attack at any moment. Then came KISS who all looked pretty healthy and agile for being in full regalia and makeup, pyrotechnics out the ass...etc. But every time the pyrotechnics blasted, it raised the temp under the roof about 10 degrees, at least. We were sweaty, hot messes. It was so hot sweat was running down my legs and into my shoes, dripping down my arms and back/sides...ugh. I have never gone to a concert and wished they DIDN'T do encores before then. When we got out from under the canopy and felt the slight breeze, breathed the night air,it felt like a deep freeze by comparison. I felt like I had a sunburn in that "shivering, but hot to the touch" kind of way.

  18. If you buy tickets to this Gen X fleece the fans tour, you deserve what you get. Meanwhile I'm Buying Sisters of Mercy Tix right now.

  19. It’s AC/DC that announced a Monster tour in the works.
If Brian and Angus are up for it, it will sell out everywhere.
