I’m old.... but he was in “ragtime” playing this force of nature police chief. It was intimidating as hell. His voice! He knew how to be menacing.

  5. That's how it works you get awards if you show up and play.

  6. In my opinion the wrong people are dying.

  7. @T.W., Don't worry, everyone is dying, it's just the order that may be unsatisfactory.

  11. One of my favorite movies is 2 Days in the Valley with Danny Aiello. The actors, most of whom were not A or even A- list at the time but later moved on to become so, were at their best. It's a funny, ironic and sentimental movie with a great ensemble cast. Danny Aiello was great in this.

  12. +1 Robin, That was a great movie. I haven't seen it in a while though, do you think it has aged well?

  13. Brayson, I saw it again about 2 years ago and it occurred to me at the time that it was a little dated. But I still really appreciated how well it worked which I attributed to the actors and casting.

  15. Awww, any time I see Do The Right Thing, I get mad cravings for a good "pizza pie". Danny was a gem.

  16. Robin, That sounds like what I thought. I think I still have the DVD somewhere, I should give it a watch.
