The new owners of this house owned several decades ago by this avuncular deceased actor who was part of an acting family were surprised by the size of the basement and also the fact all the windows were sealed.
Calling it a “dungeon” is exactly right. The actor, who was in many movies and TV shows but most known for a TV series with a number in the title, was into BDSM which his wife knew and tolerated. He liked to roleplay as a master with prostitutes but never went too far and was a good tipper which is why the women he paid never blabbed about this.

Side note: Years ago, I saw an interview he did where he sheepishly admitted that he was a landlord, and he boasted that he rented apartments to a variety of (now famous) actresses.
This makes me wonder: Did they ever participate in his role playing?

I just don't see it. Fwiw "Milk" Dick's son Vince probably earns more in 6 months than most people do in a few years as a champion pro poker player. I loved him when I was a kid/teenager, he was definitely hot. You gotta picture 40 plus years ago! Look at him with one eye closed! That works for me. LoL. Everyone looks better that way.
