Blind Items Revealed #1

December 2, 2019

This entertainment funded group that started with funds from a guilt tripped talent agency is raising big bucks over the big network firing of an actress. The group is demanding action and making a lot of noise and plan on giving everyone big raises with the money they take in from this haul. The thing is though, there are hundreds of cases they ignore because they can't raise funds from them. They only take cases that get them in the news. They are such a sham.

  1. All those movements backfired so spectacularly :)

  2. @MyDog, Oh I think Time's Up has done exactly what it was intended to do, undermine #MeToo.

  3. Great point Brayson!

  4. I don't understand the issue, a nonprofit is unwilling to go to bat if they risk under-funding themselves seems like smart fiscal responsibility. It's not their fault people are unwilling to donate unless there is a something in the news that brings an injustice to their attention.

  5. @JT, Enty is saying that donations are going towards staff, not to fighting for lower profile victims.

  6. lol, if I recall correctly, the head of #timesup resigned when her son was accused of bad behavior. Did she denounce him? Don't think so.

  7. Warning, this comment does not have anything to do with REAL victims of assault, rape or any other crime: When something starts with corrupt ideals and funds, it is corrupt. I notice it has become a platform for self-serving attorney virtue-signaling and a platform for untalented, washed up (often drug addled, casting couch whore) actresses to be relevant again. The casting couch whores that are still relevant lie about having been mistreated by the established 'toxic male privilege'.

  9. IMO (and I really like Gabrielle Union) is that this Gab Union crap is ridiculous. People around you tell a tasteless joke and you don't like the behavior of some of the people who work around you so you are a victim? This is not the same as being pushed up against a desk and forcibly raped. The two are miles apart. If you want everyone you work with to behave exactly the way you want so as not to have your sensibilities offended, start your own business, be the boss, and hire and fire all people involved. YOU WON'T FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WORKING IN ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. Pretending that #TimesUp will change these narcissist-criminals' behaviors is folly. They are funding and running it!! FFS

  10. @Sunkist, you should look up the staff of Time's Up on their website, you may discover an interesting pattern.

  11. Mel B worked a lot longer on that show than Gabby did, wore her hair all sorts of ways, and never had the issues Gabby seems to be having, at least not to public knowledge. in fact, AGT ultimately had the problem with her based on her personal issues.

  12. The thing is with the money they raise from the high profile, they can help alot of other regular people.

You'd think a lawyer, esp an entertainment lawyer would get that.

  13. Something else is going on with Union and the show. Was this a firing or was her contract just not renewed. My understanding is that it was a firing. Allegedly she was told or sent notes that her hair style changed too many times and the bosses did not like it. What? Big no no if you follow HR 101. And why is Simon lawyering up, what did he do. Did he try to play casting couch with her. Something does not add up. The best they can do is settle with her. She't gotten too thirsty lately, unemployable really.

  14. Mel B is a hell of a lot more ratchet than Gabriel Union, if you ask me.

  15. @Brayson87 - lots of WOC on their website.

  16. Charities need to make money too, to take the low key cases. Attorneys need to pay staff whether for profit or not. Publicity helps fundraise. Its unfortunate but true. Everyone needs to pay an electric bill every month.

  17. Gabrielle Union acts like and wanted to be treated like royalty. She's not. "Service personnel" are not allowed to speak directly to her. Sound familiar Cha Cha Dookie Oreo?
