Back in the day, this former A- list mostly television actress (#1) caught her first big break. Well, second, but nobody really watched the first. It was a more popular show than its short timeline would suggest. (#2). It was on a network. At the time it was airing, #1 was married. The thing is, she started hooking up with her co-star at the time (#3) and #1 got pregnant. Here is where it gets crazy. She is on a show with a decent shot to get renewed because this network didn't have a lot of alternatives back then. She walked away from the show and had a baby in secret. Obviously this caused her marriage to fall apart. Later down the road she married this now permanent A- list actor (#4) who at the time they got married was a solid A list television actor with a huge fanbase.

ReplyDeleteBack in the day for Enty is anywhere from the Fifties to ten years ago. But @Brayson87 may be right,Fox network, the Nineties is his jam. So I think we work backwards on this.

ReplyDeleteThis would fit very well for Firefly. It was unceremoniously cancelled on Fox before the first season was wrapped. Huge, huge fanbase. I wonder if any of the actresses would fit the rest of the blind.
@River, None of the actresses fit for Firefly. Although it's pretty cool that Baccarin married Ben McKenzie, they had great chemistry on Gotham.
ReplyDeleteTea Leoni was in a show that never aired called Angels 88. I was a big fan of Learning To Fly and I remember it being a critical hit, at least. I was always disappointed it was canceled after only one season.

DeleteAccording to Wikipedia David Duchovny is the father of both of Tea’s kids.

Both of the kids were born well after the marriage.
DeleteTea divorced her first hiding 1995 and there is no mention of the child she had with her costar.
The Naked Truth ran from 1995-1998.
Either Enty changed some details or this blind is about someone else.

ReplyDeleteMy own grandmother had a baby in secret when she was young and she gave the baby to her sister to raise so I spent my whole life thinking my aunt was my cousin.
This is Kelly Preston. She allegedly had a child while married to her first husband Kevin Gage. The baby had some kind of disability and allegedly Preston sent the baby to live in Hawaii with her mom. Her marriage to Gage broke up.
ReplyDeleteScientology allegedly has scrubbed this info from the net. The WayBackMachine in 2004 shows that Gage said he and Preston had a son on his IMBD profile page. By 2006, that had been scrubbed from his IMBD profile and almost everywhere else on the net.
The baby allegedly had some really bad disabilities and at one time Preston's mother had to take Preston to court to be allowed to treat the kid with medicines/treatments not okayed by Scientology. Preston's mother is said to have won that case.
I can't help with who the father might be or the tv show.
Tea Leoni was also on the Naked Truth which ran for about 3 years.
ReplyDelete@TW,the actress likely didn't raise the child herself,and would have been born after the Flying Blind cancellation,before the Naked Truth. It was odd at the time she got a lead in a new show after the cancellation of the first,which was supposed to be a hit. The possible Father isn't rated, could be the costar,or any possible regular. I also watched both shows,couldn't remember the names.
ReplyDeleteKelly Preston didn't really do much television as far as I can remember. I also don't think John Travolta was considered a television star when they got married, he was long past Welcome Back Kotter by then.
