Today's Blind Items - The Pimp

On a piece of land a couple of miles outside of Laytonville, California and another just outside Garberville are a group of about five trailers formed in somewhat of a circle with a large open space in the middle filled with a couple of picnic tables. They are on private land owned by the least likely of actors to own such a piece of land, especially when I tell you what they are used for. This guy is probably B+ list. All of you know his face and he is deeply religious. Well, he claims to be deeply religious. He has expressed reservations about certain parts which has cost him jobs. He is not from that family of actors you may have in your head right now, although, I would agree that would be great. I also think he would not be considered the least likely, just because of what he did when he was younger when it came to women. Anyway, neither here nor there.

Apparently our actor inherited the parcels of land along with some others in Northern California that were leftovers from many dozens that had been sold as vacation parcels. The two which are the subject of the blind are a little more remote. The person he inherited them from used these two parcels as rentals during music festivals. People would camp there or bring their trailers. One year some escorts opened up shop in a trailer at the camp site and did the same thing at the other camp site. Each year, they would return and ended up staying longer and longer. It was not long before there were a couple trailers in each spot all year long. In addition to the rent, they would give the owner of the land a small percentage of what they earned. Over the years, the number of trailers has grown as the pot industry has exploded.

When his relative died, the actor had no idea any of this was going on. He learned about it really quickly. You would think, given his moral high ground that he would shut the places down or sell them to someone else. Nope. He keeps right on taking that monthly rent and also the percentage of the sex trade they kick up.

    1. Yup. He and his wife are from WA state, as am I; know for a fact his family had/had NoCA property.

    2. He could name it the Pre-Penitent Magdalen Trailer Park and play the Good Shepherd.

  11. I applaud this fellow for giving refuge to ne'er do well young women who are struggling to make their way in this crazy world. To call him a pimp, like he is forcing these women into allowing degenerates to violate their precious orifices is disgusting. He is merely the landlord.

    Their bodies, their choice.

  12. Cavaziel was born in raised in Washington State..not far.And I remember his religious beliefs beimg the impetus to turn down roles...or have edits (Angel Eyes with Jlo)/The Temptation of Christ)

  13. Caviezel does not have a distinctive face

No one knows what a Jesus looks like. The Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) does say he was not handsome.

  14. it was "The Passion" and yeah anyone who played Christ has a distinctive face imho.. He also looked like a supermodel in his younger days

  18. Caviezel...
"Out of respect for his wife, Caviezel requested that he wear a shirt and that Jennifer Lopez wear a top during a love scene in the film Angel Eyes,[41] and he refused to strip in a love scene with Ashley Judd in High Crimes.[42] He said, "I do love scenes—but not ones with gratuitous sex. . . . And it's not just about my wife, although that's important. It's sin, pure and simple. I mean, it's wrong. . . . It's awkward."

  21. Caveizel’s face is forgettable to me but I can see how his face being distinctive fits. A ton of people saw The Passion of the Christ. Caveizel is best known for portraying Jesus Christ.

Person of Interest was a good show.

Loveless got it. I didn't even have to finish the first paragraph before I knew who it was. Neal Mcdonagh. You all know his face because he has some of the most piercing blue eyes you've seen in Hollywood. Often plays bad guys or military types. Refuses to kiss other actresses due to his religion-- thats the thing he refuses to do that costs him roles.

"His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters."

    Jesus is black.

  25. @T.W. can you give the specific scripture that says Jesus is unattractive.

  26. I agree, hardly a pimp. More like an entrepreneur.

  27. @T.W.-The old testament does NOT talk about Jesus, this is the main difference between the Old and New Testament..btw now your bible before commenting, also Jesus WAS good looking, not that it counts, look at the Torino shroud

    1. @karma police

Please tell me your comment is satire. I am working on my second advanced theological degree. What makes you more qualified than other recognized theologians, rabbis, and other clergy?

Even if you personally do not believe Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah, the Messiah is mentioned throughout the Hebrew Bible (aka Old Testament).

Don’t take my word for it. This is the internet. I encourage you to speak with ministers and theological scholars about this.

      May God bless your understanding.

      Delete
    2. @karma police New Testament is the revelation of the Old Testament, but you must read both to fully understand

    3. @T.W. I hope the seminary/theology schools have taught you that the Bible is the historical acccount of the blacks of the transatlantic slave, Latino and indigenous people of the Americas and Caribbean and they are the only people spread throughout the four corners of the earth who fit the curses in Deuteronomy 28

      Why so sarcastic?

Why make jokes about a Sacred text?

You do know the trans Atlantic Slave Trade did not even exist when the Bible was written?

Please tell me you are trying to make a joke.

Let’s focus on the blind items presented on this site.

  28. It's the Turin shroud. =)

And the visage left by a garment draped about the face is distorted, naturally, into a Gregorian cast.

All of the hard science on the Shroud (STURP, Pilate's leptons, etc) is fascinating. The phenom yet a mystery. (Probably ever after. #oneoff)

About 9 years ago, some team did a reconstruction accounting for the warp and woof of a wrap ... History Channel maybe? ... results were arresting. So much more well-rounded human vs evenly elongated distortion of con(vex and cave) features.

  29. In agreement that it is Jim Cavaziel.

He mentions the passing of his lawyer and mentor in this interview from 2018:
    https://www.catholicworldreport.com/2018/03/11/jim-caviezel-on-what-he-learned-playing-st-luke-and-why-he-thinks-we-dont-love-jesus-enough/

I would guess that his Frank Stewart is this fellow, who did not have a spouse or children (so would make sense that he left land to Jim):
    https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/latimes/obituary.aspx?n=james-franklin-stewart&pid=185632016&fhid=11399

As for location, I could see this being across Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County - would give easy access to festivals like Outside Lands and the jazz fests.

  30. @obsessed - sure! Isaiah chapter 53 is about the Messiah. Verse 52 is what you want:

    Isaiah 53:2 (English Standard Version)

For he grew up before him like a young plant, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him.

  31. @Silver Girl

Neither Laytonville nor Garberville is anywhere near Marin. They are about a three hour drive north of San Francisco.

  32. @bollybiy

Doh - I totally spaced on location. Had a friend whose family owed land in Marin, and it got stuck in my mind.

  34. @T.W. Not sarcastic at all, transatlantic slave was prophecy for the twelve tribes, that has come to pass I might add.
I would never make jokes about The Most High’s sacred words, I apologize if it came out as such. I too was a student looking to theologians, and pastors and teachers and then realized they’d been teaching me lies and misinterpreting scripture, to fit all kinds of societal agendas and narratives. . Beginning with TV Hollywood giving us white Jesus, and scripture clearly describing Him as a black man.

  35. This is kinda awesome. He really is just like jesus!

  36. Jesus is pure myth. Never happened. The Ur Marcus (Marc Antony, sponsor) account is a diegetic transposition of the life of Julius Caesar primarily from the account of Asinius Pollio. The geopolitical comp for a Jesus is Phraates V, king of Parthia, a decendent of Caesar (Rex Harrison), Cleopatra, Helene of Adiabene and Thera Musa Orania*, as well as his own father, Parthian king Phraates IV. This alignment put Phraates V as a claimant to all thrones that mattered: Rome (Caesar) Egypt (Liz Taylor) Parthia and Judea, as the Parthian elite were Nazarene Jews. Old Germanicus, by then known as Vespasian, stopped Parthia, and in the process stomped the messianic Jews (James the Just, et al) who had foolishly aligned with Parthia to toss Rome from the Levant. Further investigation reveals that Phraates and his mother set James and his men up for the slaughter, having absconded with the Parthian treasury and relocating in Herodian lands as tax exempt guests. Palmyra, the Herodian stronghold Phraates settled in became a boom town with that stolen gold reserve.
Simple and Earth bound. No need for magical thinking. The old world was just as mundane and corrupt as our new world. All you believers could use a stiff drink about now.
*Thera Musa married her son Phraates V because she was a Ptolemy and the Egyptian court practiced point blank incest.

  38. At 8 years old, Akiane Kramarik painted a portrait of Jesus that she said she saw in a vision or dream. It's absolutely beautiful. She said his eyes are the color of the ocean, blues and greens. I would believe a child before I believed an adult as to what Jesus looks like. Her family was atheist.

  39. Shroud of Turin is more accurate. Jesus is Not moviestar handsome or has blues eyes. But charisma and mystics have an absolute Super aura around them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. What is considered handsome or beautiful differs amongst cultures as well as during different eras. Look at how often, as well as how much the "desired female form" has changed since the 1940s. In this era of worshipping size 0-2 androgenous physiques, Marilym Munroe could be considered plus size at 12-14, as well as too female. It's all in the eye of the beholder.
In my opinion Jim Cazeviel is a very attractive man. I also enjoyed Person of Interest. I hope that it's not him and don't think that it is.

I’ve realized people just ignore scripture.
Jesus is black, and so is Adam and Eve, and Moses, and the 12 disciples, and even Mary and Joseph. I mean how wound a white Mary and Joseph hide in Egypt with a white baby Jesus.
