Apparently the powers that be forced the former A+ list mostly television actor turned B+ list actor who has been around forever, to recant his true statement about his loathing of the permanent A+ lister. That kind of story doesn't work well with a goody goody image or an Oscar campaign.

Hell yeah about Gary Sinuses. Once I found myself in his house for a fundraising dinner. His home was shockingly modest and he had the most polite children that I ever encountered that were celebrity offspring.
DeleteI been behind the scenes of A++ Hollywood/Bel Air/Bev Hills for a few years at this point and I was never starstruck until then.
I had a nice conversation with his wife and I mentioned how I was a huge fan since Of M&M and also Kathryn Erbe. Next thing I knew I heard her calling my name from the living room and there was Gary chilling on a couch. He thanked me profusely for our work there and I brought up Of M&M and Gump and Katheryn (Steppenwolf alumni) and we chatted it up for about 5 minutes before I went back to my post. It was hard for me to focus on the conversation when I kept thinking "holy shit I'm talking to lt. Dan!" He didn't even trip when one of my dumbass coworkers set off the loudest fire alarm system I have ever heard.
The only other celeb that flipped my wig was Angelina Jolie.

The zillionth blind item about Tom Hanks about to get exposed. I remember the big one from a few months ago. A report was about to come just before the release of A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. The film was eventually released in November. There was no big story then. What a surprise...
ReplyDeleteSure, Hanks got Henry Winkler fired from directing Turner and Hooch after a couple of weeks. It also happened more than thirty years ago. At the time, Winkler was trying to follow Ron Howard's lead and turn into a director. He made a couple of films, which didn't make much of an impression, and he never really kept on trying after that. Getting fired was definitely a blow to his pride, he may still regard Hanks as a jerk today, but he's also friends with Ron Howard, who's worked repeatedly with Hanks, and he may simply not want to rehash for the umpteenth time a story, as it makes him look like a bitter guy.
But if it gives a few people here an orgasm to think that Hanks will finally, finally get exposed...

Even people who are supposedly "Mr. Nice Guys" can be jerks, have done something indefensible, cheated on their wife, farted in the middle of a church service, etc. I assume Hanks may have covered for stuff done by his son Chet Haze as the guy clearly has some substance abuse issues, but some really dark and evil acts by Hanks? That's mostly wishful thinking without much to support these theories.
The thing is that Enty has obviously nothing concrete on Hanks. He has just been making vague allusions for years about "something" coming soon, because that's what his readers, and mostly the people who pay for the podcast, want to hear. The same way we have people obsessed by Robert De Niro because of some recent political rant, while nobody would give a fuck about his daily activities five years ago. So, we have a bunch of blind items that always hint at them finally getting their comeuppance. That's about as much as a joke as Lucy offering Charlie to kick the football. You just know it will never happen.
That's why I was so amused by the "exposé" blind item about Hanks. You could see after a couple of lines it was all bullshit, and that it would have actually HELPED Hanks to post that, if anything from this was true . The whole operation would have actually been completely compromised by leaks so much in advance, that would have given him plenty of time to destroy evidence or to bribe accusers. But people still ate it up because that's what they wanted to read, what they pay to hear, and things such as logic are then the first to go out of the window.
Sure, the Kappy guy made accusations, but his inner knowledge of the industry seemed to mostly come from reading blind items and gossip on sites that also had an obvious agenda.
And Hanks has some actual acting chops. Few actors could have carried the final scene of Captain Phillips, where his character finally breaks down in the middle of a medical check up. It had some potential for hamming, but he delivers a completely restrained and devastating performance. It's a pity that he goes most of the time for safe and boring material.
Out of curiosity what is the evidence that leads so many to believe that Hanks is a pedo? There seems to be very strong convictions of his guilt so where is the proof?
ReplyDeleteThe sign for me that these allegations are true was Hanks' tweet prior to Isaac Kappy's unusual death. He mentioned Route 66 where Kappy "fell" to his death. It was downright chilling and to me, really exposed Hanks.

NEVER acted like a celebrity and always went out of his way to help out at the school personally and in the community. Couldnt have been nicer, more normal or more generous with his time, talent and $$.

There is one accusation by a Sarah Ruth Ashcraft who isn't remotely credible and possibly unwell. She has accused many others of various crimes, all of which has bolstered her social media following. In the media saturated world we all live in people can publicize whatever theories they have, and the more outrageous, the more likely to go viral and become profitable. Pedophilia is reprehensible and I think before you accuse someone of it you should be able to substantiate your claim. Tom Hanks is a rich beloved Hollywood actor so some nut job on the internet is not going to ruin his life, but this weird conspiracy theory group think has actual real world repercussions. That’s too far afield of this particular discussion. And I think what mainly drives these allegations against hanks and others like Spielberg and Geffen are the Epstein and Weinstein cases. Rightly or wrongly, Those cases are swooping others up in their net thru rumor and innuendo. But I happen to believe that Hollywood is a cess pool. Consequently, I’m receptive to these theories. And it’s a proven fact that multiple people who’ve accused spacey have turned up friggin dead. So at this point, I’m inclined to listen to anything. I have no dog in the fight.

Shortly after this, IK did die in strange circumstances (read about it) and it was declared a suicide, when that makes no sense.
The only logical conclusion is that ONE of the people he accused was in fact a p-do and killed him to cover it up. Could have been Tom Hanks, could have been Spielberg, or any of the others.
Separately, I do sincerely find it weird that Tom Hanks posts all those pictures of solo abandoned kids' shoes etc. There is also a pretty old video floating around on YouTube of a homeless guy yelling about how Tom Hanks is a p-do and nobody knows etc! To me he seems to be concealing something or other, though that could just be a bog standard affair or six.
