ReplyDeleteI didn’t know that Hilary got married again in 2018 (not that this precludes this from being her.) She has been nominated AND won a ‘Stinker’s Bad Movie Award’. ‘Barely goes out in public’ definitely describes her.
Sandra leads a low-key, mostly private life, but we still see her. And would she really have another kid in addition to the two that she already has? She seems content with her family. But she did win a Razzie, so there’s that.
@Tricia: also like your Diane Lane guess, and the alternative explanation for ‘the other end of the spectrum.’ Would LOVE it if it was her.
As for explaining the baby, the situation may or may not be explained. Look @ Cameron. She just said that she & Benji are parents to a baby girl. Period.
While I do hope that the person comes out, that seems unlikely given that the baby is due next month. (I was due in February but was born 4 weeks early 😊so this 👶 🍼 could arrive at any time.)

DeleteThis may be an unpopular opinion, but what's wrong with being closeted, aka keeping your sexuality private? Why is it the world's business? Shouldn't you be allowed to be judged on your accomplishments and the way you treat people, and not how you live your personal private life? In the real world, nobody clamors to find out whether or not you're gay, straight, bi or whatever. I work in an office of 200+ people, and I guarantee you it's a topic that is rarely discussed.

Mainly because they know that once it's out, that's how they're identified and their work product ends up taking the #2 position, at least for a while. And ultimately it's no one's business.

@E I really do not think that is an unpopular opinion on the whole. There are people all around the country who are LGBT and probably rarely discuss it at work wanting to keep private life separate from work life. I do not think it means you are "closeted" but more it is just not part of your work topic discussion. Personally, I do not want to even know about straight sexual exploits of co workers.
ReplyDeleteBut, I think for me at least, in the entertainment world, if you invite people into your private life with the pap walks, talking about your love life on talk shows, kissing in public photos, etc. when you are in a straight relationship, it just seems the actor is a liar/ fraud and greedy in order to get more money if they are in a gay relationship and refuse to talk about it.
I understand why people choose to stay closeted it is just for me once you open pandoras box but doing the public dating stunts, then do not be surprised when people talk about it or want to know about it when you are in a gay relationship as well.
People can feel free to disagree LOL, but, for me that is why I think the subject of who some actresses/ actors date, straight or gay, is fair game.
@Tee Excellent point and these people do choose to live in a fishbowl and play their little games so they do leave themselves open for speculation. As we always say, that's what they get paid the big bucks for.

If you've ever been unemployed, you know how critical it can be to have a reliable paycheck. There's a lot of value to living on the downlow if that's your career. A solid beard game (you cannot tell me John Legend is straight) is also a plus if you have a great partner.
