ReplyDeletePretty obvi that this Entard is 100% clueless about what goes into a home shooting ranges. In Cali you can't just build an outdoor area in a residential zone, and an indoor range is usually placed in the basement area and requires certain building codes to be met for safety. I've known people who lived out if the city and the burbs who tricked their basements out themselves with just a few trips to Home Depot.

For the non Bible reader: If someone is proclaiming themselves to be a Christian but doing despicable things, he is NOT a Christian. No more than the sky is purple just because I say so.
You can't judge all Christians by the works of a specific person. We are not all hypocrites. I would be comfortable saying Pratt is NOT Christian because of his actions. God will judge him, if he doesn't ask for forgiveness and repent. Which means not doing the same thing over and over.
This guy is deceiving and being deceived. Good luck to him.
PS - don't jump on my ass for swearing. We are all a work in progress, that is one of the things I'm working on now. It doesn't happen overnight and God doesn't expect it to.

Second, there are zoning laws that need to be followed regardless of how big of an action star you think you are.

ReplyDeleteFor the kids safety I would be more concern about the road than the range but this is hollywood, sport car : good, gun : bad ; like milano, she is (used to) driving a porche, sure she never cross the speed limit or drive under the influence...
Anyone that's ever actually been to a range knows that they're very safe lol. The comments here are absolutely backwards. Do your research, 'experts.'

I'm an avid gun enthusiast. I love shooting and hit the range every chance I get. I also would love nothing more than to have my own personal range...if I lived in a rural area, away from roads. and could build a reinforced barrier around it to properly stop bullets. In a populated residential area with neighbors (children or not)? That is appallingly idiotic, not only for the obvious potential for danger, but also just the noise.
ReplyDeleteWithout a proper noise barrier you can hear even a 9mm from a mile away. If he actually builds this and tries to use it, you could count the hours before he starts getting hit with C&D's from the local DA, filed by his neighbors. That's assuming it's not already a violation of local law, in which case he might get a visit from his friendly neighborhood SWAT team.
