Today's Blind Items - The Statement

I think it is best, just in her own words.

"I have been quiet about a matter that I can no longer swallow. One would hope that after years of women finally being given a platform to have a voice and be heard, people would believe us.
I experienced something unimaginable. __________ (Former A+/A turned A- list mostly movie actor) waved a gun in my face and proceeded to shoot it into the ceiling while his daughter was asleep in the next room. I submitted a declaration to the court which was then leaked to the press. My legal name has been slandered. Lies have been spun and his child is still in his care after other women have come forward with damning evidence to support some sort of intervention.

This is my statement and I want to be heard:

“Being in a room alone with an angry and intoxicated man waving a loaded and cocked gun and firing it into the ceiling was terrifying and something I would not wish on any woman. When I later learned a child was in the house during this incident my heart broke. With hindsight I wish I had called the police, but at the time, he was still in possession of a firearm. Instead I called his friend, who I believed would be able to calm the situation. He arrived shorty after. He assured me that the actor would be receiving rehabilitation and mental healthcare and insisted I keep this traumatic event to myself. The actor and friend thanked and praised me for ‘saving the actor’s life.’ I now realize the friend was simply managing me to protect his celebrity friend and in the process, helping to put a small child’s life at further risk.

My concern is for the safety and well-being of the child. I’ve chosen to speak out because the child is not safe when alone with her father. I truly hope the actor seeks help so that he can work towards being a responsible father. I praise the brave women who have come forward to protect the child and her mother knowing their names would be dragged into legal proceedings and media scrutiny.

The tangle of lies the actor and his enabler friend submitted to the court in their declarations could easily be proven as such. Their claim that it was a not a real gun is absolutely ludicrous and it is incredibly disheartening that rather than seek help the actor has decided to attack and slander his victims.”
