Blind Item #2

This cable network wants people who quit from the long running hit show brought back in an attempt to get the ratings back to a good space. Right now, the ratings are so low, that the network is bleeding money.

  4. Bravo. Time to unload that misogynist Andy Cohen.

  5. This is so vague it could really be any show. I like the AHS guest but he brought everyone back for this season except fan favorite Jessica Lange who is a ratings hit

  6. Yep, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Kathy Bates will be back this coming season. I just wish that Jessica Lange would come back.

  10. It’s The Walking Dead. Does this site get everything from gossip columns? Just saw an article about this on LSA.

  11. Definitely not AHS - they were signed on for more seasons, ratings are not an issue there.

  12. First thing i thought of was Grey's. I've been a long time fan for years and they can't even keep my attention anymore. I have no interest.

  13. Grey's is not on a cable network

  15. AMC has Better Call Saul which is a huge show SO many people have been waiting for. Season 5 has been SO FUCKING GREAT so far!

  16. It's absolutely AHS. Murphy was interviewed and said that next season is "all about bringing back fan favourite actors". He's desperate.

  18. I stopped watch "The Walking Dead" because it is the same plot over, and over, and over, and over...

  19. American Horror Story did just announce the return of some of their best people for the next season, but I don't think their ratings have been devastatingly low or that they are bleeding money over it. The Walking Dead is a much bigger ratings disaster -- they have driven that show right into the ground -- but since so many of the "quitters" were killed off, how would they bring them back beyond flashbacks? Rick/Andrew Lincoln is supposed to get some Rick-centric movies, not that anyone will still care enough to watch them. They will need to come out before he could return. Maggie/Lauren Cohan isn't big enough to save the ratings. Who else could be brought back for more than a flashback?

  20. HBO. Were there defections after GOT ended? There was certainly a lot of dissatisfaction.

  21. I like the Bravo guess. VPR is the only thing that keeps me tuned in.

  22. Me too Mrs Libnish, though I've only half watched this season.Dont love the new cast members...soup without salt as my mom says.

  23. It is not the Walking Dead. Since they got a new writer, the show has been doing really well.

  24. That's Enty's funniest blind items in years.

Right from the first blind item, that was about Sarah Paulson leaving AHS in disgust about a money dispute with Murphy... to work on a different Murphy show for Netflix, it was obvious it was fake. Now that it's official that a couple of actors are actually returning, which totally negates the series of blind items, it's because of behind the scenes negotiations with the cable network. Bollocks...

The ratings weren't "so low" because of the lack of Paulson and Peters, they're dwindling because audiences are just getting tired after all these years. Besides, you can easily check that it's been a trend for years, and the ratings for the Paulsonless, Petersless season (1984) weren't that different from Apocalypse, in which Paulson was the lead.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_American_Horror_Story_episodes#Ratings

And Murphy doesn't need to keep AHS on the air, he has a development deal with Netflix, that's much more lucrative for him.

But it's definitely very funny to see Enty spin out the latest development for readers he regards as suckers.

  25. Wonder when Ryan Murphy still being besties with Brian Singer will ever come to light. Not very LGBTQ friendly of you, Murphy! considering that’s ryan murphys schtick , he’s got a lot to lose… And the whole suicided Mark Salling thing…, Your ‘legacy’ (lol sure) is on the line

  26. @ Angela

Angela, every day you’re on here and write a bunch of paragraphs on almost each blind saying the same shit over and over and over. Why even come to the site if you think 90% of it made up, exaggerate, BS.
It’s like you’re screaming out an ulterior motive, passionately dismissing all this w/o fail, EVERYDAY, & not even brief comments - paragraphs! Either yell at a cloud IRL or just shut up w/parroting the same opinion ooooover & ooooover

  29. HBO and Friends most of the shows now on HBO are not so great. Avenue 5 is the worst, The Stranger is weird, Bill Maher is getting old, too many HBO channels and repeats. Cable is a big effing waste and streaming is too confusing so many really bad movies out there and inconsistencies in programming. It takes two days to find a movie on Netflix.

  30. Thank you, Angela. You wouldn't happen to have been VIP Blonde in a different life?

Tricia, i used to like you until you revealed yourself as a right wing nut job conspiracy theorist without a single fact in her brain.

    Ciao!!

  31. Considering that almost everyone who leaves The Walking Dead ends up with their characters getting killed off, it would be hard to bring them back. And they're saving Rick's return for the movie.

They already announced Lauren Cohan will be back around the last episode of this season.
