There wasn't actual sex involved with this closeted former A list mostly movie actor and the woman he calls his girlfriend. A baby was produced though for the couple. The actor who went from the biggest franchise on earth to a decent show to whatever he can get, has, with varying degrees of success, long tried to stay in the closet.

ReplyDeleteIf this is supposed to be Elijah and if he is gay, then I doubt the baby is part of a closeting scheme, since he's done nothing to push the news - not even announced if it's a boy or a girl. Maybe he just wanted to start a family and his lady friend was OK with that. Queer people like kids, too!

@Rosemary, Or his beard got knocked up by her real boyfriend or random hookup and refuses to abort. So he decides to make the best of an awkward situation and double down. Works out well for her, now her kid is famous Frodo's child instead of some bro she met once at a TGI Fridays.

ReplyDeleteHe is one of the few stars that came out and talked about pedophilia/ abuse. I always assumed he was gay, but, I could see Elijah being more sexually fluid as that can happen with abuse victims. Also, like a poster mentioned above, he is not promoting the child as a marketing scheme and I don't really see him as a romantic lead type so what would be the point of all this if it is not real? He is very low key publicly.

I agree this being Elijah, but I disagree with the take what he can get roles. I know for a fact he wants these weirdo genre roles. He's actually using his fame to do what he wants now. Thats my one quibble with this blind. Enty may think Wood is settling, when on reality this is the acting he *wants* to do.

Gay or bi people have babies ALL THE TIME. look at all those lesbians who end up married to men - seems like the majority of Hollywood actresses certainly are. Gay or b men can and do have sex with women, marry them, and become fathers, and their families are as happy as any others. (as long as the women are aware of the fact). Not every gay man lives in San Francisco wearing assless chaps on a gay pride float, there are many of these exotic creatures amongst us, actors, or lawyers, doctors, mechanics, or waiters, and they often 'pass as normal' - so there!
