Once upon a time, at a party he was hosting, he decided to play one of the many gold records he had. Upon removing it from its frame, placing it on the turntable and dropping the needle, he was surprised to say the least. ReplyDeleteThis is not a blind or anything new. Pretty much every gold or silver record handed to stars for selling truckloads of records are not the record they are being rewarded for. One of my favourite punk/new wave bands from the late 1970s early 1980s (The Jam) also played one of their gold records once and it turned out to be an ABBA record. Why you thought writing this "blind" would be interesting or worthy of writing is beyond me.
