@sandybrook his 'anecdote' and claims about Barbara come from being around on her several occasions he co-hosted. He may be an opportunistic jerk and very well lying (or Barbara could be diva-ish or forgetful) but he has engaged with her on some professional level from which is is claiming these stories.

ReplyDeleteAfter a friend of mine once said, “I hate the way Barbara Walters latches onto her interviewees like they are best friends”, I started noticing how she would link arms with whatever celeb or politico she was interviewing as they strolled on the beach or in the subject’s garden. She’s a poor interviewer and a sycophantic suck-up who wouldn’t recognize a tough question if it bit her wrinkled, sagging ass.
