This former B listish tweener turned A-/B+ list adult singer stole a bunch of similar stories from a singer who used them in an interview a few weeks ago. Also, she is still not sober and her botox and filler game is a mess.
Demi told a story how her old management wouldn’t allow her birthday cake. They gave her watermelon with diet whipped cream. I can’t remember who previously told that story, but I heard it before from someone else.
I am not saying she is lying but could someone explain to me how the record labels have so much control they can restrict what a person is eating.
Do they hire someone to babysit their artists 24/7 to ensure they don't eat? I just don't understand how the artist just couldn't have a friend or acquaintance just got buy them a cake to eat.
@Dorvannnn It could be in the contract. There could be weight and fitness targets specified, with guidelines about consequences if the targets are not met. A consequence such as only eating approved food.
I feel sorry for these kids being controlled by their labels, and yes it does happen. Demi seems like a nice person. Brit and all these girls have crazy demands made on them and it causes a lot of stress.

Yeah the recor label wanted to keep Jojo slim when she was young and I think she said she was limited to 800 calories/day...
