Blind Item #6

The lying banned from television actor who lost his show and quite possible could lose his freedom is just pretending to his fans and to the public none of that is happening. In order to move forward, he is going to have to come up with an apology.

  1. I don’t even think an apology would work at this point.

  5. In order to move forward, he needs to spend some time in jail.

  6. Seems like this is a good time for redemption and starting over. People have far more important things to think about rather than this douchebag

  7. Smollett deserves to be held accountable. He wasted a lot of city resources, manpower and time. Let him go work at Whole Foods for the rest of his life.

    1. Hell, no. I don’t want him touching my food! And I don’t want a side of bleach.

  8. @Rosie - I agree, to the point that he didn't even occur to me as the answer to this blind. haha I think people are definitely more focused on other things right now. That said, it might be smarter for him to keep his head down for a bit longer.

  9. Fine. Then let him mop McDonald's bathrooms for the rest of his life.

  12. Jussie...agreed that general public has largely moved on (Chicago coverage is still pretty angry). However, either keep the head down and fly under radar, or apologize (wish involves confession, so will never happen). Maybe even post the uplifting song, subtly reminding people of your talent with a positive message. BUT, to poke head out of his hole AND make a joke about the reason for the exile while the case is still in play seems like yet another arrogant move. The joke might be kind of amusing, if not for the sh*tstorm his actions caused, and the genuine trouble they had had the potential to incite.

  14. Don't agree with letting him off with an apology. What do you think would have happened if a Trump support pulled this stunt. Attica bitch! That's what.

Yeah he was helping us all through the crisis the other day by making loud nasal whining noises using his throat and mouth. Or what he calls singing. TMZ was lapping it up. Harvey still trying to hit that.

  16. Too bad he's stupid. Smollet was the most likeable character on Empire. He has talent, is good looking, but unfortunately short in the intelligence department. He just can't think five steps ahead of himself.
