The actress, known for her roles in film classics, allegedly targeted a young assistant from a vulnerable background — hiring her directly from background acting work based solely on her race. This unorthodox and racialized hiring bypassed formal onboarding, triggering union concerns including SAG-AFTRA and OSHA scrutiny. The assistant was denied protections, then subjected to psychological manipulation disguised as mentorship.

After disclosing that she was an orphan who had lost both parents, the assistant says the actress took on a mother-like role — only to emotionally exploit her, mock her Southern accent and background, and make inappropriate comments about past traumas, including sexual abuse.

According to the assistant, the actress also isolated her in a trailer, discouraged her from interacting with crew members, assigned her personal tasks off-set, and even invited her into her private home — blurring personal and professional lines.
