A lead for a new CBS show coming out this fall recently got blacklisted from his go-to coffee shop in his Nevada hometown. He was known to be a regular there, with the coffee shop almost being a second home to him, and all the baristas were familiar with his incredibly specific beverage preferences. A few months ago, he began insisting that the manager of the coffee shop, which has its own roastery, add kopi luwak to their menu. The manager told him that this wasn't possible because of the price point, but he wouldn't budge. Just a couple of weeks ago, when he was on a break from filming, he had a contact from an animal sanctuary in LA bring a civet to his hometown, where he tried to DIY producing the coffee beans with the civet at the coffee shop and rinsed them off in the bathroom sink, hoping that this would allow the coffee shop to offer kopi luwak without it being a financial burden. This ended up with him and the civet promptly being asked to leave. He was spotted going back for a regular cup of coffee a few days later, but the baristas were so exhausted by his antics that they ignored him and refused to serve him until he left. The civet made it safely back to the sanctuary and was given lots of treats, but our celebrity is allegedly still searching for a coffee shop that meets his expensive tastes.
