Blind Items Revealed #49

July 2, 2026

A soon-to-be lead actor for an upcoming detective show set for a mid-season release has been seeking a career change for longer than he’s been working as an actor. Ever since he was a kid, our  celebrity has dreamed of running away to join the  circus. Acting& Theater

He initially started college in California, but soon after realizing he couldn’t pursue his dreams of joining the circus, he transferred to a college in New York City that had a design-your-own degree program, where he began studying  Circus Arts. Unfortunately for him, his parents forced him to change his major to a regular one and threatened to stop paying his tuition, so he studied directing instead.

His love of the circus never left him, though. He would watch Carnivale religiously every evening after he graduated from college, and he even decorated one of his rooms to look like the inside of a big top, dreaming of the day that he could finally run away to the circus.

While he worked as an actor, he would apply to circus performer jobs multiple times a year, but he was always rejected. Finally, our celebrity thought he’d found his big break. When his little brother graduated from college, our celebrity talked him into working for one of the largest circus entertainment companies as a videographer, convinced that this would be a way into the industry. Unsurprisingly, this didn’t work.

Somehow, our celebrity has remained tenacious. The  executive producers for his new show were familiar with his love of all things circus, so they decided to gift our celebrity and a handful of other cast members tickets to a circus in the Canadian city they're filming in. A few weeks ago, our celebrity and a few other cast members and their families were spotted at the circus performance in the city. Unbeknownst to both the public and his colleagues, our celebrity snuck off and paid off a clown backstage to swap places with him. He made it halfway through the performance before he was noticed. The management of the circus didn’t want to cause a scene, so our celebrity was quietly asked to leave for the remainder of the show (but his co-cast members and their families were allowed to stay).

While he was pretty upset, rumor has it that a couple of producers felt bad for him and had the writers add a circus-themed episode into his show so that he could finally live out his dreams.
