Today's Blind Items - Breadwinner

This former child actress is starring in this prequel. Her parents were young and struggling financially, with her father still in medical school and over $200K in debt. When their daughter showed an interest in acting, they saw the financial opportunity and took the leap, ( especially after her mother quit her sales job).  She was working so much that she missed out on a normal childhood, and felt the pressure to keep booking jobs to help support her family.
