1. Actress on crack does a cop a favor - She's actually dating a cop now. Weird I know, but she's still not clean.
2. Jackass rockstar - Bryan Adams
3. Kindness from same day - I've commented on how much I dislike her significant other although it is said in fun. He is a lucky guy.
4. Celebrity adoptions gone bad - Still blacklisted. Think theatre now.
5. Gay actor afraid of being outed. - Hasn't been outed yet but the role didn't quite launch him where it was supposed to go either.
6. TV A lister knocks up a 15 year old. - I've never written about him on the blog.
7. Pap stalking the A-lister. - I gave an update previously to this one. I think, but do not know that the photos were bought by the actor. I do know the victim used to smile a great deal more than she does now.
8. The woman harassed by her neighbor. L. - Someone showed up with what they are referring to as a handwritten will claiming they are entitled to some property. It is in litigation right now.
9. Six quick items - #1 - not dating anymore #2 - only has one client now if any as she is making enough hosting events. #3 Had a second blind item where his cameras were mentioned again. #4 Much more than once a week now. #5 One of the two is in the process of divorce. #6 Still married but some pieces of the relationship are always missing.
10. HIV infected wife from hubby - Barely married.
11. Surfer Boy and Vixen - Surfer Boy looks less and less like a surfer and Vixen isn't in the Bu anymore.
12. Female celeb 3 way/3 some/catfight - All I can say is that I've alluded to the answer several times and that it's not that difficult. This blind item was in November and in February or so, the tabs started putting it together.
13. MV. - My one day clue doesn't apply anymore and it's not because of the concert photos I post now. The big news is that S almost died this past spring. She had breast cancer and had a very difficult mastectomy. MV visited her in the hospital and from what I understand they had a really nice two hour talk.
Wow! I can't wait to get started on these. This should give us something to chew on all day.

let's be careful to identify which BI we are guessing in our posts (I've been guilty of not before) because I've noticed that sometimes the fighting here starts when someone assumes a guess is for one when it is for another and the gloves come off!

ReplyDeleteMy first thought for #1 was Jodie Sweetin. She was a star in the 80's/90's with Full House, is a former meth addict and was married to a cop. She has also made a recent comeback in Ent's photos (a very nice, surgically enhanced comeback). Unfortunately, that is where the similarities end. She is/was almost exclusively tv, drug of choice according to her was meth, not crack, etc. Just thinking out loud...

I am enjoying the updates, but linking to the November BI's really demonstrates just how much this site has changed over the past few months. I mean can anyone really argue that the Ent of recent is the same as the Ent of November? The BI's were well written, substantial and conversational. Recently all we have gotten is snarky, catty gossip regurgitated from other sites and "well-known" rumors. He is dating her? We all know this isn't going to last. Blah, blah, blah... Also, ent used to post in the comment sections?

As for my guess, I still think #7 is Tom and Katy (I mean Kate...). They was news recently that they are moving, their current house, while obstructed from the street is visible form nearby hills and they certainly have a creepy relationship. Tom tries to spin it inot love, but it just smells of controling creepiness.

ReplyDeleteThat is very possible. As I said, I wasn't trying to start anything and am not a "hater", I was just pointing out a distinct change in tone of the posts. Ent seems to have gotten much more snarky and catty with his posts (maybe he has just gotten caught up in the gossip columnist snarkiness). I guess my point was that in the beginning he wrote about his experiences and views while now he reacts to the gossip of the day. Regardless, I still read the site and am enjoying today's hints.
Regarding lucky #13-MV
ReplyDeleteI will admit I dont' know a lot about breast cancer and mastectomies, but isn't that something that generally affects older women? It sounds to me, by the tone of the hint, that MV is an older artist... at least older than Britney. I still think this is Paula Abdul. I concede that outing Paula as a non-singer wouldn't rock the music world in terms of her outstanding musical career, but I think it would make big headlines in reference to her job judging singers on American Idol. Idol makes a ton of money, partly due to the Paula/Simon/Randy trio, and Fox would have a difficult time justifying keeping a fraud on as a judge.
But the MV says:

The headline of the story is "A Ghost Singer Reveals Herself - Tuesday, November 21, 2006". The story doesn't fit the clues in this item, but coincidental nonetheless.

And Mannheim and Flockhart = the practice + ally mac beal. The gay actor = steve carell. He's in an hit tv show (the office) but he's not a sex symbol so he's off the radar. But if evan almighty would have been a success in the box office it would have been like the mask for jim carrey! Another site had a fairly well-researched posting that pointed to Michele Branch and she is now posted in the photos, but I don't recall any mentions elsewhere, so I suspect that rules her out as MV.

MV can't really be Britney, I remember watching a show where of course she lip synched part of it, but at the start of the show you could tell she was singing live, as she couldn't reach the very bottom notes, but she has a really really distinctive voice. Plus she's been singing since she was a little kid, and she was famous long before 2000. Agree with Brit for the 3some guess though.

The blind item about the gay actor not wanting to be outed was published on November 16. It starts by saying:

The cast of 300 were promoting the film at Comic-con in July of 2006. So that cancels out Gerard Butler unless ENT decided to post this BI about a year out of date.
Superman was also released months before this BI so same thing goes for Brandon Routh.
Im guessing this will be about someone along the lines of Seth Rogan for Knocked Up or similar (I dont think its Seth - he has a girlfriend of two years or something, but def along those lines).

See, and I think Russell Crowe is the wife-beater. He doesn't strike me as the type who would want evidence of anything he's doing. Also, his wife hasn't done any work since 2000, so not getting out much would fit the clue.

I really don't think MV is Shania Twain. I dated the band leader and lead guitarist for one of Shania's tours. I think that he would have told me about her being a fake if that were the case. However, he did point out something about her that I had never noticed before. She has tiny hands that kinda look like claws.

Twisted Sister: You make a pretty sound point, but as Russell Crowe beats EVERYONE, I'm taking that as a given. Also, why would a photographer stationed in NZ or OZ (where I'm assuming Mr. Crowe spends much of his time, as he owns several homes there in addition to a working sheep ranch) seek out legal advice from someone located in H-town, Cali? Finally, how would ENT know that Danielle (who isn't really a celebrity) doesn't smile very much any more if she is so low key and remains out of the public eye? Still, as with many of these BIs, more than one celebrity would fit the description, and your point could be very valid.

Jane Wyatt doesn't fit. She would have been 96. Her husband was an investment broker and he died in 2000.

ReplyDeleteSan, there's a difference between outbursts - like punching a guy in a drunken brawl or throwing a phone at someone - and being so abusive you beat your wife. Not a stretch to see such a hothead do both, but it's still always shocking to learn about this type of abuse. Pictures would only make it more graphic and shocking.
Also, with all the movies he does, meetings he takes, etc., he probably has a permanent place in CA (even if it's not a home), which is where I assume the pap was lying in wait.
How would EL know? Actors are seen with their wives even when the wife seems to put aside her career and live a low key life. Also, that part could be something he's hearing through the grapevine. Peopld DO love to talk in that town /industry.
Topher doesn't seem like a half bad guess or someone along those lines for #5. Got the impression that this person cared about his relationship, so I don't think would be the type to have a beard - will be someone like NPH or Topher, whom you don't hear much about their personal life (at least NPH pre-Perez). Just quietly goes about their life.
ReplyDeleteI don't think the woman in #8 was famous. I re-re-re-read it (add anyone?), and it never mentions her being famous, or ever acting. So I looked through all fall 06 deaths of women 80 and above, and came up with nothing. I have a feeling this blind is probably some wonderful woman that none of us have ever heard of. Her husband was a producer who died in the late 80's it sounds like.

ReplyDeleteTwisted: While I don't doubt for a moment that Russell might be a modern day Ralph Kramden (actually, he strikes me more as a cheater than a beater) the time-line for the "abusive boyfriend" scenario doesn't fit. The abusive boyfriend and his girl were married some time between the Dec 12, 2006 update and the March 7, 2007 update, judging by the time-line Ent's given. Russell and Danielle, though, have been married since 2003. Tom and Katie, on the other hand, married on November 18, 2006 (two full days before Ent's first Abusive BF post), so I'm not sure if they truly are the couple of which Ent wrote. And as Ent admitted, he doesn't alter the time-lines of his stories (with the notable exception of the MV tale).
