NY Daily News Blind Item

Which hotel in a European fashion capital — the one where all the top editors stay — has a prejudiced manager who is worried that his establishment is getting "too Jewish and too gay"? One flamboyant guest was told to tone down his gym attire; gay-friendly films have been taken off the in-house movie system, and an insider says the manager is privately anti-Semitic.

  1. I hope he gets "outed" and fired.

  3. Anti-Semitism has been rampant in France for decades. The vandalism in their cemeteries is frequent and dreadful.

  4. Historically the French are known for their anti-Semitism (and not just in France but in Quebec as well -- from personal experience). One can only hope that this manager is reprimanded. Boycotting the hotel should be considered for upcoming fashion shows.

  5. More to the point -- let's see how many garmentos and fashionistas actually decide to do business again with this manager now that he's outed as a bigot. That'll say volumes about whether his customers have pride and standards or are just self-haters and bigots.

  6. George V (Paris). Wouldn't be surprised if there was something similar in Milan.
