it isn't becks. he doesn't play in the premiership. the premiership is the all-england football (soccer) league. he plays for the LA galaxy, in america. he only played in the premiership when he played for Man U, many, many years ago.
(and yes ... he plays for the english NATIONAL squad (sometimes ... when the coach is feeling generous) but that's not the same thing as the premiership at all.)
Oh, there was a blurb about this in Popb*tch, how his wife must be VERY happy. His last name is something like Moler or Mogum or something like that. Brits, anyone - what's his name?
