Today's Blind Items
This is someone that has never been in the blinds before. Always fun to have fresh faces in here. What you have is a married C list film actress. She is married to a guy in a celebrity family. If I say his career it will give it all away. So, let's stick with celebrity family for now. So, on the set of her latest film she met another actress and they bonded and started hanging out and it was completely platonic. You thought I was going to say our wife had an affair with the actress. Nope. I really don't know if our wife is into women, but it turns out that her husband took an immediate liking to the actress his wife brought home. Well, as soon as he had the chance he made his move, and the two have been almost inseparable. You might ask how that would be possible considering he is married. Well, if you figure out the career you will figure out how it is possible.
I don't know, but maybe the c list actress is married to a director or producer as if to talk to her about some movie??

ReplyDeleteBut I'm leaning towards sports or perhaps journalism.
A personal trainer, maybe? Or personal chef? I can't think of any from a famous family, but it would be an easy way to excuse the constant contact.

ReplyDeleteFamous family - Andrew Firestone (vinyard and tires), and his wife Ivana is an "actress". . .but not even up to C-list. . . I'm stumped.

ReplyDeleteThe Arquettes - David is married to Courteney Cox. The Baldwins - Billy is married to China Phillips.
If his career would allow him to spend that much time with the "friend," it could very well be a stylist of some sort, although I can't think of any stylist from a celebrity family. Right now.
For some reason I was thinking the Coppola family, more specifically Jason Schwartzman? Only because I was thinking he is an actor/musician and he has his own record company, so the the other actress could be one that is trying to get a music career started, and he would be producing her album... But there are a lot of problems with my theory. One, I dont even think Schwartzman is married...but even if its not him, this scenario could work for other famous celebrity families.

I'm new to posting...Great guess pomme--IMDB lists Greg Lauren as a "successful and professional nude painter". Hence how the affair is possible. (Sorry if everyone already knew he was an artist...I had no idea!)

Carla Gugino has been in the blinds before (August 2008). Are all of the parties new to blinds? Or just the c-list actress?
ReplyDeleteI think the Berkley/Lauren/Gugino guess is great. However, I agree with Katja -- Enty really likes Carla Gugino. I don't think he would post a blind that reflects negatively on her.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue, but this is the most intriguing blind in AGES, and personally, I like Lucky777's train of thought: a hotelier has LOTS of time and space for extramarital doinking.

ReplyDeleteDrea and Shooter do sound more likely, especially if he said country music. Shooter tours, so it is definitely possible. But why would an actress be anywhere near a musician touring?

honestly, beats me. I don't have anything fresh to add but i do like the sound of pomme's guess. Ummm, i didn't even know who Greg Lauren was so i wouldn't be too worried that you weren't aware he was a painter, one canary :)
ReplyDeleteDonald Trump Jr is married to a model/actress Vanessa Haydon but I don't think she has acted since Somethings gotta give in 2003. So no go there...

After looking at the reveals it struck me how self evident the blinds are.. so give it all away- philanthropy? Or one of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers (ha ha!)
LOL Cooper's Mom! I didn't know if he was well known in the US or not (I'm in Canada). Glad to hear I'm not completely out of touch :)

ReplyDeleteDrea is not a FILM actress. Her fame mostly comes from TV shows and I guess she wouldn't turn down an interesting part because it's TV.
ReplyDeleteBerkley is a better guess even if her roots are "Saved By The Bell". One Canary's find about the husband's job is a bonus but I'm not sure it fits entirely the clue.
I don't see how EB's husband's career would allow him to be with the other actress all the time, unless he is paiting her in the nude. But if he is famous for that, Wouldn't EB know how long that process takes? It is interesting to note that EB just had a guest arc on The L Word, so that should narrow down some choices if it was from that set :)

ReplyDeleteThe Olivia Wilde guess is awesome, but I kinda can't believe that anyone would ever cheat on her. She's so gooooooorgeous. Yeah, I know that sometimes beauty isn't enough to make a dude keep it in his pants, but I LIKE her. I like Olivia as a princess! She's like the grungiest, most casual princess ever.
ReplyDeleteGenevieve (by the way, if that's your real name, your parents are awesome) -- I also thought of Ashley and Dario. For some reason, a race car driver immediately popped in my mind -- perhaps it's the emphasis on an unusual career that may involve a lot of travel or something.
My problem is: Ashley comes from a WAY bigger celebrity family than Dario. In America, at least. The wording of the blind doesn't accommodate that guess.
Any other race car drivers? Hoteliers? Restaurateurs? Politicians? Athletes? I really don't think this dude is an actor or a singer.
Oh, and damn. I forgot that the blind said "film" actress. Olivia is widely known for T.V. She's out.

Is it possible that the career is the ministry? Any reverends married to actresses? Seems to me that might fit the bill as to why the guy can make nice with the friend without suspicion.

ReplyDeleteOK, for this blind I guessed bodyguard or something and in todays comments about JLH's breakup, he mentions her bodyguard alot. However, nothing else fits(don't think JLH is filming a movie now or just recently, JLH would be the "other woman")
