Susan Boyle Sets Online Sales Record

When I first saw the statement from Amazon that said Susan Boyle set the online sales record for most pre-orders of all time I was like that is pretty impressive. I mean I know she is popular but to beat out every other band that has ever sold an album online, that is incredible.

So, who do you think is in second place? Probably like U2 or Kanye. Maybe Mariah or some Beatles release? Umm, actually second place belongs to Mr. Children who is a Japanese rock group. Their 2008 release Supermarket Fantasy is number 2.

Ok, but really for third place it must be a super group right? Susan knocked off a king or queen of the record business right? Umm, well 3rd place went to Japanese pop star Ken Hirai and his 10th Anniversary Complete Single Collection '95-'05. Oh, well sure I mean everyone has that right?

The people over at Columbia Records could not be more excited for Susan. The Chairman said, "One of the things that is so unique about Susan Boyle is her ability to touch people around the world. We're excited that I Dreamed A Dream holds the new record for global pre-orders and that Amazon's customers have supported her album in this way."

He then went on to say, 私平井堅とバックアップ歌が手配することができますミスターチルドレンとスーザンボイル一緒に同じように、高速のデュエット曲歌うされます。

  3. oh good god.
with the way people download their music illegally, there is no way to report the realistic numbers. all it shows is that SubO fans are honest!

  4. I think Enty made a slight grammatical error in his Japanese:

High speed duet music sings Mr. Children and the Susan Boyle that I Tsuyoshi Hirai and a song of backup can arrange in the same way together; is done.

  12. Nice to see that Ken Hirai is a top download. He's awesome. A friend in Tokyo turned me onto him just after his debut CD and I've been a fan ever since.
