Carrie Underwood On Tony Romo ""He Did Me Wrong"

Carrie Underwood takes part in the what I've learned column in Esquire Magazine this month, and like all things where lengthy answers are not required, the celebrity sounds interesting. I never thought I would say this about Carrie Underwood but you should read it. It sounds like she is lonely and that no one knows how lonely she is and her cell phone is her best friend and we don't know how much she is lonely and everyone thinks its glamorous but she is lonely and an animal lover and lonely and you get the idea. She did say that Cowboy Casanova is not about Tony Romo. She basically kicks him in the balls with a sentence. "No. I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit."

Do you think she actually talks like that or she was really trying to solidify her country roots? He did me wrong. See, to someone from the Southwest it means he treated her poorly. To the rest of the country it sounds like he was either a really bad lover or that he tried to use a part of her body she wasn't prepared for.

  1. I've never understood all the dislike for her. She seems like a sweet person, and I've never heard anything truly horrible about her. Am I missing something?

  2. I liked her so much right after AI but she sure has let her ego go to her head. She's too young to be such a bitch.

I don't see how did me wrong me means anything other than treated poorly but I'm from the west coast. Does the east coast/ mid west really think that means bad sex? Lol.

  3. I'm in the Windy City and originally from the Southeast. Did me wrong means treated poorly in both places.

A true country girl would say "he done me wrong". She's gone too far from her raisin'.

  5. I take it as he treated her badly. Most likely cheating or lying or something along that line. At least that is how I took it. I am from NY.

  6. O, I've heard lots of stories about her being rude to people. Which would probably explain why she's lonely.

  7. Sounds to me more like a dig at Taylor Swift, who does immortalize past boyfriends who did her wrong in song.

Taylor is stealing Scarrie's thunder these days - taking the EOTY award at the CMA's and Female Vocalist (which Scarrie is the better one for sure).

It's not all about the sex.

  10. I'm with Mooshki, although I agree she's done some good things for animal welfare, so I'll tip my cowboy boots to her for that. PS - Romo is scum.

  13. I have followed Carrie since her first day on AI and I've never seen her do or say anything really bad or hateful. I think a lot of times she doesn't say things well, and it's taken the wrong way. Plus, she is a woman and quite frankly all of us can be bitchy on occasion, I've never known a woman, myself included that couldn't be a total bitch at least once in a while. I love Carrie, I think she's a phenominal talent and a genuinely good person.

  14. lol @ tried to use a part of her body she wasn't prepared for.

Reminds me of the Family Guy where Brian and Stewie are talking about ear sex. "You know what they say? Once you go Black, you go deaf."

  17. i have never understood the hate for her. and she doesn't have to 'solidify her country roots.' she's always had them.
i don't think she made a dig at taylor swift either. it was mainly a diss to romo, who she thinks ended it badly, i'd say.

she can't open her mouth without somebody reading a lot more into it than is really there---and hence she has a reputation as a 'bitch.'
