Chris Brown Says Retailers Blackballing Him - Yay Retailers!!!!

You know, I don't have a Twitter account but I sure like reading the celebrities who write their own Tweets. Over the weekend Chris Brown went ballistic. Like in a I am going to beat Rihanna kind of way. Seriously. Most of his most offensive threatening posts have been taken down, but luckily they were recorded for all time before he could do so.

It turns out that Chris Brown has fans. I know, I know. Shocking! It turns out these fans actually want to spend their money on Chris Brown records and apparently concerts also. His two concerts over the weekend were sold out. Thanks to all those fans for rewarding the f**ker and putting a few hundred thousand in his pocket.

Anyway, some fans were complaining they couldn't find his new record on the shelves. One fan had been told by a manager at a store they didn't want to stock the CD's of women beaters. I love that! Another went to a different store and was told they would never carry Chris Brown. Brilliant!!

Well Chris Brown went to a Wal-Mart in Connecticut. Guess what? They didn't have any of his CD's on display. They had Alicia Keys already to go for Tomorrow, but no Chris Brown in the front or back. Love it.

Chris Brown didn't love it and said the following:

"im tired of this s--t, major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f--k do i gotta do."

Umm, how about not beating women and stop being a self entitled prick for awhile. Oh, and learn how to spell customers. Just saying.

"yeah i said it and i aint retracting s--t. im not biting my tongue about s else..."

Umm, actually he did retract it a little while later. You won't find the above two on his Twitter anymore.

"the industry can kiss my a--."

Also taken down.

The only ones which remain are the address of the Wal-Mart and his experiences there. If you live close to this Wal-Mart, please stop by and give the manager a hug.

"JUST WAS AT WALMART IN wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back... not on shelves, saw for myself"

"we talked to the managers and the didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had alicia keys album ready for release for this tuesday comin."

"the manager told me that when there are new releases its mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS"

"no disprespect to alicia at all.. just givin an example to whos album is loaded and ready to go next week"

Whine much Chris?

  3. That's rich. Suddenly Walmart has a conscience. It'd be nice if they grew one for the little hands that make their products.

  4. i am suspicious that he has sold-out concerts. i need some proof because i heard that he could not sell out arenas. i do believe that he is over.

  5. That's weird, because I could've sworn a couple months ago they were still selling the ass clown's CDs at Walmart. Well, I'm glad to see they finally grew a pair and decided not to sell his caca music. He just needs to go to jail already.

  6. Prison, not jail. I want that shithead locked up.

  11. Messing with Rhianna and disrespecting Alicia Keys is going to earn him a beat down from Jay Z.

  12. He's an embarrassment to Virginians everywhere. :(

  13. I hate his whiney ass! Just STFU!

  14. If Walmart keeps this up I might just have to start shopping there again.

  15. The piece of s***'s concert a few days ago here in Boston was sold out.

I think we're underestimating how many fans Chris Brown has...there are a lot. A LOT. I've been fighting with one on Twitter all weekend.

My mom teaches 8th graders and I've been telling her that she NEEDS to talk to them about Rihanna and Chris Brown again. So much isn't getting through to them -- if it were, his single and album wouldn't be performing so well on iTunes.

  16. his career in music is over. done. i hope he's considering getting an education...he needs one in so many ways. hard lesson learned, buddy. sooner or later we all dine at the table of consequence.

  17. Dear Chris,

    Boo - fuckin' - hoo.

While your're in Walmart, why don't you go and buy a shovel to fill up the hole you dug for yourself?

    Just a little not-so-friendly advice.

  18. Oh suck it up, asshole.

  19. This just shows that he learned NOTHING. It was all a carefully orchestrated PR stunt. He is and always will be ghetto scum. (I'm African American so I say that with pride!)

There will always be people who will love a piece of s**t like Chris Brown. Guys that admire him and girls that still would want to date him.

However, kudos to Walmart. I wish that all chains did the same and all radio stations too. As a society we need to all "blackball" him.

  20. Loving your responses Pookie "dine at the table of consequence" and Mngd "buy a shovel ... not so friendly advice".

His self-entitled ass should go back to prison where he can be someone's gurl.

  22. Speaking of Walmart... here's a link to a site that I check out periodically. It is like watching someone pick a scab - no matter how vile and disgusting you find it, you just can't look away. Enjoy!

  23. I hate Chris Brown, but still love his music and think he's talented. He was a fool to write about this on Twitter, but probably feels frustrated because the few fans he has left can't buy his cd. He knows he can't move past this without record sales. I'm not saying he should get to move past this, but (for example) they didn't stop people from being able to vote for Bush. By not making the cd available, they've taken away the public's right to vote for or against him.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm a bit (er, I mean, a LOT) confused, Nosey - what in THE HELL does the Chris Brown thing have to do with people voting for Bush?????????????

    ReplyDelete
  25. It doesn't. I just mean that the people who still like Chris Brown can't buy his cd. He's hoping the public will decide (vote) by record sales to forgive him. They can't if if not available for purchase.

BTW, I've never bought his music, and don't care if he does well.

  26. Gee, Chris. Maybe you should have thought about this before you punched your girlfriend in the face.

I have no sympathy for this piece of shit. None at all. Good for Walmart (that's something I never thought I'd say).

    ReplyDelete
  27. Babs, I don't want to make other posters angry, and shouldn't have used that as an example. It wasn't meant to be anti-Bush, I was trying to speak up for Americans right to choose. Very sorry if I offended President Bush fans.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks, Nosey. I just didn't get where you were headed, and I appreciate the clarification and the apology.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Can someone please publish a list of all of the record stores that don't carry Chris Brown's CDs? I'd like to go out of my way to buy from those stores to show my support!

    ReplyDelete
  30. this kid will never learn. well he just sealed his fate by telling what's left of the record industry on his side to kiss his ass.

    ReplyDelete
  31. "JUST WAS AT WALMART IN wallingford CT,844 north colony.. the didnt even have my album in the back... not on shelves, saw for myself"

so none in the back & none on the shelves. the album came out last week, so they were sold out. get real Chris, everything's not a conspiracy. But at my store I'm more than happy to move his cd to a less prominent location than the new release area.

  32. Go Walmart!

He really needs to learn some proper English.

    ReplyDelete
  33. oh yeah, and how dare they lie to "costumers" lol

  34. Just checked and looks like his whole Twitter account is down right now. Good thing I took a screenshot of his bitchy whining. ;) Seriously his temper...nothing has changed with this guy. Consequences sir, consequences.
