This Emmy nominated former B list actor and now C list movie actor was seen in a Vancouver restaurant over the weekend. Our actor was with a blonde who was less than a third his age and who seemed to have one function. The function was to let men look down the top of her dress which was encouraged by our actor. Throughout the time he was at the restaurant he also leered at every woman that walked by his table. Our actor's date didn't seem to mind in the least. Oh, and our actor has an arrest record and has not been kind to women in the past.

"Arrested in November 1991 after defying a court order to leave his son alone, violating strict visitation rights, and slapping his son's mother Melissa Leo; charged with criminal contempt of court, custodial interference and assault.
"In November 1996, Heard was charged with stalking his son, the boy's mother Melissa Leo and her boyfriend. He was freed on $50,000 bond. Heard was later convicted of telephone misuse and trespassing with sentencing set for May 1997."
Nominated for an Emmy in 1999. Born in 1945. I don't know why he would be in Vancouver.

ReplyDeleteLong-time reader here, although I've hardly ever posted: when I was 16, I attended a summer acting program for high school students in Vermont, where John Heard was one of the actors-in-residence. I know from direct experience what a perv this guy could be, as his inappropriate attention towards me (and who knows who else -- I assume there were others) almost got the whole program tanked. I suspect he suffered from alcoholism AND depression...which is still no excuse for being gross & creepy. SO not surprised by this blind.
