The Best & Worst Last Night From Dancing With The Stars

I actually watched most of Dancing With The Stars last night. I thought Kate Gosselin sucked and was happy to see it. I thought Shannen Doherty would be better but how can you say anything bad about her when she is so happy to be doing this for her dad. Was it just me or did Pamela Anderson look like she has danced a few times before in her life? Apparently this is going to be a battle between Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek and last night went to Nicole. Now for your viewing pleasure, Kate and then Evan. I would put up Nicole but I just don't like Derek Hough so you get Evan.

  1. I have to say that K.G. did a lot better than I thought she would.
I expected a total shambles, and it wasn't.

  2. And I also think it defeats the purpose of the show to have contestants who already know how to dance.
Even if they are not trained in ballroom dances per se, any dance training is a huge advantage, as they will already have the balance, coordination, rhythm and fitness necessary to the endeavour, and then it is only a matter of learning new techniques.

  3. Kate G. wasn't so bad! No worse than Shannen. Shannen's das stuff was touching and all, but I don't really care why anyone is on the show (it couldn't be for the MONEY) but showing her dad crying in the audience was not nearly as crass as the taped sh*t about Pamela's Auntie Vie (*shudder*).

What struck me the most was how sh*tfaced Pamela was--I was stunned she was able to even dance at all when it finally came her turn! Her eyes were effed-up as hell. Her schtick is played. It's just OLD. If she would clean up and act her age she could still be great.

Game on between Nicole and Evan--the ones to beat.

Lastly,Chad 85 was awesome to watch. What a drooling-gorgeous physique!

  4. oh i'm sure Pammy had danced before.....she knows her way around a pole @

  5. I love Pam Anderson, but something seemed off with her last night. She looked like a 2-cent hooker. And her hair is ridiculous. For reals.

Nicole S. was really great. I think the footballer has potential. Plus, Cheryl is always a great teacher.

Evan needs to loosen up, but I'm sure he'll be amazing.

    Love Niecy Nash.

The new set and special effects are way overboard on the cheesiness factor.

And Brooke Burke is the world's worst host I think ever.

  6. Good show - I'd like to see how many of them improve as they go along - that to me is always the most intersting part. I hope Evan improves, he probably will. I'd like to see Kate improve just because I like ballroom dancing and she of all of them has no prior experience at all. And as for that hair flinging joke - as canadachick says - she was missing her pole ! Pammie if she cleaned her act up could be awesome but sadly I think it's gonna get worse folks !

  7. Evan was a letdown. He's no Apollo, but maybe he'll improve.

Chad was pretty good and should have received higher votes. It sucks to go first I guess.

I loved Aidan on All My Children, so I'm biased.

I get the whole Buzz is a hero thing, but I honestly think they need to quit with the senior contestants. To make it fair, why not have an entire season of mature contestants instead of the token horny old guy/gal? Buzz was tough to watch.

Nicole was good, but why wouldn't she be?

Kate and Shannon seemed scared out of their wits. It seems to me that bitch-Kate is going to pop out at any minute. You could see it in her eyes during the judges' comments.

I was expecting a total trainwreck, but drunk, pole-twirling Pammy did a pretty good job.

Most of all, Maks looked hot and that's all I care about!

  8. I bet Brooke needs a little time to settle in. She'll get better.

Am I the only one who really liked Pam last night? I thought she was great!

I was CRAZY about Evan during the Olympics, but I was a bit underwhelmed last night -- he looked skinny and geeky, not like the big muscular man he was in his Olympics performances.

And Ochocinco -- OMG. Before last night, I didn't know anything about him beyond the fact that he changed his name to freaking Ochocinco, but HOT DAMN! I would hit it...haaaaaahd.

  9. I'm rooting for Cheryl and her Wide Receiver ... I think she's gonna make him really good (and he's sooooo easy on the eyes!!!)

  10. Yes he is, y'all!

Oh, man. His lips, teeth and smile--a total package of gorgeous chocolate-y goodness.

So right, Cheryl is an excellent teacher.

Bothers me that Tony has never gotten anyone who can take the trophy. Edyta will never win before Maks does.

Half the pros are probably bigger ego-trippers than some of the stars!

Did you notice that each pro had their own introductory/promo clip as well last night?

  11. ENTY-
I don't like Derek Hough! Something about him...he gives me the creeps.

  12. He's a total jerk and will use anyone in anyway if it helps his "career". My source on the set said that last season whenever the press wanted to interview his partner, model Joanna, back stage, Mr. Conceited would physically push Joanna to the side and he would answer the press questions!

  13. I don't think Pamela Anderson was drunk. She seemed kind of fun and self-deprecating in the rehearsal, and prettier without all that makeup. But as soon as the dance was finished and the judges started criticizing her, she turned all drunk sex kitten Pam on 'em, I think, because she doesn't know how to take criticism and she compensates by putting that tired 23-year-old drunk fun-loving act on. Kind of pathetic. And she's going to end up looking just like her Aunti Vie. But with blonde hair.

  14. I think Cheryl Burke is a whip-cracking slave-driver who doesn't babysit her contestants, tells them they suck when they suck, and then goes on to win--twice at least. It might be infuriating when you're practicing with her, but standing there at the end with the trophy, not so much.

  15. Why is Brooke a host? What happened to her predecessor?

  16. I saw the previews and this is one of the most boring shows I have ever seen. But it's great for Khate's kids. The show keeps her away from them...

  17. Kate sucked big time and I was glad. I also agree that THE BITCH in her can't wait to come out when someone critiques her dancing.

I was looking forward to Shannen but I also agree we don't need sob stories from any of the contestants.

I thought Erin did a really good job.

Overall I was underwhelmed and probably won't watch it again for this season.

  18. Oh and I forgot the best part was when Lynn (sp.?) said that it looked like Kate's partner was pushing around a shopping cart.

Wow! That's a low blow when someone calls you a shopping cart! It just made my day. LOL!

  19. Is Buzz Aldrin married to Jocelyn Wildestein the lady that has surgeries to look like a cat?

I can't stand Kate and would like her to leave ASAP.

I think Erin and Maks have the total hots for each other.

I actually loved Pammy and thought she was a very good dancer. She did look a hot mess.

I think Evan will do much better next time. On his blog he says he is going to start touring with Stars on Ice next week. Either he is planning on getting voted off tonight or he is going to be a very busy guy. I wonder how that will work out.

Jake ranks right up there with Kate. Tell me again why they are considered stars.

  20. Oh and I forgot to add I loved the FCC comment Tom made about Edyta's costume.

  21. Doc Girl - Samantha Harris left. I think it was her choice but don't know for sure.

Kate was bad, which made me happy, and I hope there aren't enough of her followers voting to keep her around!

I agree with Califblondy - enough with the senior specials. I feel bad for the pro dancer, they don't stand a chance of going far.

  22. oh i'm so excited for this season. THIS is what reality tv should be!

i'm a big fan of kate and while she's no talent, i gotta give the woman props for going out there and trying something completely out of her comfort zone. she's not a performer, she's a 'real live' person and she was vulnerable and i think she was fine. pam was ott. the woman oozes sex appeal and i think that's why she's fun to watch!

brooke was painful to watch. i couldn't stand her on the show the first time, but at least i didn't have to listen to her talk. and i wish that nicole chick wasn't on. idc if she hasn't been specifically trained to dance, she's had several years of performing experience and that's an unfair advantage.

and omg buzz was so charming!

  23. Goodgrief--Buzz Aldrin isn't dumb enough to be married to that thing. He walked on the moon. West Point grad, astronaut, scientist. See here: http://buzzaldrin.com/the-man/biography/
