The Perfect Part For Angelina Jolie

I don't think I have enjoyed Angelina Jolie in a movie role in a long time. She just has not picked the best roles for herself. This role she is in discussions for though would be a perfect fit. Right now she is discussing portraying Maleficent who is the wicked witch who casts a spell on Sleeping Beauty. See? That is perfect for her. Angelina can play evil. I think she would be great at it. She has the looks and I have no doubts she can do evil. Now who should they get for Sleeping Beauty? Hmmm? Maybe she could prick the finger of Jennifer Aniston who then sleeps for 100 years and then Jen gets awakened by her Prince. Hmmmm. Brad Pitt? Box office gold. I'm telling you.

  1. In no world would those three ever agree to do it, but if they did EVERYONE would go see it

  2. Brad is wayyyy too old to be the Prince! He'd have to shave that nasty beard off his face anyways!

What about ScarJo or The Zooey for Aurora? ScarJo is a gorgeous as a blonde and has very Disney princess-like features and who knows, The Zooey could look great with long blonde hair?

  3. HA! I'm LOVING this bit casting by Enty!

I would pay my $25 (or ££) to see that! In 3D!

  4. I think it's genius for Angelina to do it (honestly, watch her win an Oscar. Julia Roberts, meanwhile, coulda shoulda woulda done the Pretty Ugly Woman a long time ago.). Jennifer Aniston isn't fresh enough or enough of a beauty to play sleeping beauty.

That could be a role made for ... I hate to say it ... Taylor Swift. Seriously. Little to no speaking. Fairy Tale. Bring in all her millions upon gazillions of fans too young to go see Angelina.

Which makes for a far more interesting casting decision for the prince -- it would need to be someone inbetween the two (pitt waaaaayyy too old).

  6. Tenley nailed it by casting Taylor Swift.

  7. Yep I agree with Taylor Swift for Sleeping Beauty. As for the prince, John Mayer. Just kidding.

  8. Taylor Swift would be a good casting choice! Right on! I'm in my early thirties and I think she is adorable.

I saw her on SNL and think she did a fantastic job! Not once did she have to look to the side of the stage to have her lines fed to her like most actors do. A lot of actors who have been in the game a long time do a pretty tragic job at hosting SNL. I was actually very impressed with Taylor!

  9. Swift can't act. Yes, I saw "Valentine's Day".
Also it's sleeping BEAUTY and, while she is not ugly, her face doesn't translate well onto a cinema screen.

    Amanda Seyfried for sleeping beauty

  12. Isn't Jennifer older than Angelina? It would be funny, but I don't see Jennifer as a princess except in her own mind.

Angelina could play the wicked witch perfectly and have a grand time with the role.

  13. I LOVED Jolie in the Changeling. Even my Team Aniston friend who I dragged to the theater admitted that Jolie was amazing in that movie.

I like Missjenny619's Scarlett or Zooey idea. Both great up and comers.

  14. Hell yeah! I myself would love to play Maleficent!

I've always loved her beautiful scariness and that awesome raven. I want a raven to chill around on my shoulder and go do my "bidding." How cool!

It would/will be the role of a lifetime, IMO, for anyone.

  18. Wait, are you guys talking about the sleeping beauty as in the fairy tale? I have no idea who Maleficient is... I guess its one of those cultural things. :)

  19. ^^^

I think it's the name they (Disney?) gave SB's stepmother.

  20. I love Maleficent! I saw her strolling around at Disneyland last week and just about lost it. Of all the Disney characters ( yes originally Grimm Bros ) she is my fave. I wish I had a picture with her but she was walking 100mph at the park and look like she meant biz.
An old friend of mine who was my cities biggest Dominatrix for several years had a HUGE tattoo of her on her arm.
I dont know what all this has to do with Angie..but yeah, I think she would be great for that role.

  21. While Amanda or Taylor might be considered the classic Sleeping Beauty, what about someone of color? I loved Brandy as Cinderella.

  22. Is this a live action movie or animated?

  23. Amada Seyfriend for SB for sure. Taylor would contractually add some horrible fucking song to it.

  26. PERFECT...JUST BE YOURSELF ANGIE

  27. @BorgQueen - it would be directed by Tim Burton, so live-action-ish. I'm thinking along the lines of Alice in Wonderland.

Since this seems to need to be explained to some: Enty is JOKING when he says Aniston should play SB and Pitt should play the prince.

  29. Totally agree with Shmooey, Swift is so NOT a beauty in the face.

EA- I think everyone got the joke, but just the thought of Jen as a beauty was too much for any of us to handle.

I vote for Jake Gyllenhaal as Sleeping Beauty (who sleeps nude) and Hugh Jackman as Prince Phillip (who loses his shirt in battle in the first scene).

  32. FINALLY! A role for Angelina that will come naturally to her. She needs this role because I'm not buying the role she's been playing in the media the past few years...
