This would probably be more natural if something like this actually happened at home. Or, if Katie Holmes could still act. Or wasn't trying to seduce Tom Cruise.

Damn removed already! Just goes to show how paTHEtically controlling and paranoid Cruise is. I'll bet his team of anti-outing lawyers was all over that.
For an actor of his caliber (trying not to laugh) he couldnt even fake interest or attraction to his wife of 4 yrs. This is the most "alive" I have seen Katie Holmes in a longtime. I still think that Suri is Chris Klein's child. No way she and Tommygirl procreated.
I saw this yesterday... the most awkward "dance" I saw a couple do. I can hear the convo - "uh kate, dance/act like you want to sleep with me and the (true) rumors about me will go away for a bit.... sure tommy..how much?"
BUT, did you notice Douchey McDouchebag doesn't even gesture to his wife for a round of applause?? It's like he is standing there waiting for the crowd to applaud for him. Ugh.
So uncomfortable to watch. And where in the hell are they? Looks like a school gym or something. I never thought tom would come to this. And that poor woman can't sing or dance.
I think they should get kudos for re-enacting the first days of their so-called "marriage." Katie tries to get close to him, he looks queasy and inches away, repeat, until finally he lies down rubbing his eyes and complaining of a headache and she pushes him to the floor in frustration. The end.
reading the andrew morton book on cruise. i'm only on chapter 3 but this mofo is one MESSED up dude. and it's all very easy to see how he got that way.
everything he says about his childhood and being a struggling actor is a pack of lies...read it.
They don't interact like a couple that's ever actually touched before. Not that I thought they ever had. It's so awkward, it's like watching kids trying to be sexy. Tom looks particularly small.
Jax, other than the one about how he loves women in general and his amateur-dancer fauxster in particular, can you please share a few lie highlights from the book? Reading it could make my eyes bleed. (And thanks for being braver than I am.)

TC clearly likes non-sexual women (Nicole Kidman, Katie Holmes, Mimi Rogers). What I can't figure out is why he was ever with Penelope Cruz, who exudes sexuality.
Sort of reminds me of how young teenage girls usually like guys who are non-sexual, because they're "safer" and non-threatening.
There is old footage, somewhere on YouTube, where she was on Leno or Letterman years ago and they have a clip of her doing this same song and dance routine from when she was in high school. It was just as awkward then, as it is, now.
BTW, I read that Tom Cruise book, too, last year. Its a quick read, but I was disappointed in Morton for not exploring the 'whose child is it' rumors surrounding Suri. Especially after everything else he worked on digging up throughout the book, total copout on his part at the end.
I only wish I knew what was funnier the dancing, Tom sitting there w/that dopey grin on his face, Katie trying be "sexy", or Katies craptastic singing.
I think the girl cannot get high school out of her head--it's the mind control, surely...I have seen high school productions that are better, more passionate, and less "fawkward" (love that).
@enchantress, I'm with you. I didn't think it was so horrible. It reminded me of a high school musical number. But I wasn't cringing at the two of them. Well, that much anyway.
