Today's Blind Items
This former B list movie actress who is now a C, although I can't even think of a movie she has been in lately. Anyway, she was in a very recent breakup and even though it was because she couldn't get her act together, she is getting paid. It wasn't a marriage, but she is getting paid $20,000 a week to keep the secret that her ex also loved guys. If his business partners found out then he would stand to lose millions. What he didn't count on was the fact that our actress tells everyone all the time when she has been drinking or doing drugs which is frequently.
Uma Thurman. She broke up with a European financier a few months ago.

The only thing that keeps me from thinking that it might be Jim Carrey is that Enty didn't mention that the ex was famous as well. Just rich.

I think Tara Reid could be C list only because of the American Pie Franchise. Think of it like a school grade. American Pie was like a project worth 1/2 your grade--A list project and all the rest of her crap is D/F work. Between it all it averages out to a C. I don't know---maybe I'm just trying to justify my answer to the blind, lol.

ReplyDeleteBesides, Sean Avery is such an ass that somebody would have outed him years ago just because nobody, even most of his teammates, likes him enough to cover for him. Not to mention that coming out and claiming that he was such a jerk because he was overcompensating for his own secrets would probably make people like him better (and also probably help his plan to get into the fashion industry when he quits hockey)

ReplyDeleteThere were blind items about Tara's fiancé being gay months ago, when they were still together, so they would have done a poor job paying her. Besides, nobody listens anymore to what Tara can say about alcohol and drugs and no businessman would lose millions if he turned out to be gay, especially in Internet services.
ReplyDeleteSomebody who would lose millions, however, would be a sportsman. He can legitimely fear that sponsors will quietly leave him because his public image would change.

ReplyDeleteI'm still leaning toward Tara Reid, but I love your Camilla Belle guess, chopchop. Dunno if I would peg her for drinking and drugging frequently, though. She just looks too put together most of the time. But still, a total possibility. His dalliance with Demi Lovato is clearly for publicity, and I always got the same feeling about his time with Camilla, too.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it doesn't make sense for men in very many industries to "stand to lose millions" if they're revealed to be gay or bisexual. This would have to be either someone who does most of his business in a very conservative country/countries, or someone who is in an industry that's homophobic (e.g. professional athletics, and it pisses me off that this is true about professional athletics... get over it already, jeez). Michael Axtmann therefore doesn't fit. Plus, look at the guy. If he's trying to keep his sexual tendencies a secret, he's doing a very poor job managing his outward appearance.

ReplyDeletePretty much every other team Avery has ever played on, the other players made it quite clear how much of a locker room cancer he was after he left. Dallas hustled him out of town as fast as they could because of what he was doing to the locker room.
Not to mention the fact that he's been accused of using ethnic slurs towards Georges Laraque, he's been accused of mocking Jason Blake after he was diagnosed with cancer, and he's gone off on rants about European and French Canadian players. Oh yes, and he decided to call the press over in the locker room after a pre-game skate to proclaim that other players were dating his sloppy seconds.
Only a myopic Rangers fan would think that he's hated because of the little stunt he pulled with Brodeur. If it had been any player not named "Sean Avery" odds are that the league wouldn't have changed anything, but Avery has had such a reputation of being a punk for his entire career that the league came down hard.
All in all, his antics rival that of TO, but because he's a white hockey player he gets a pass by the media in ways that a guy like TO doesn't. Pretty much any NHL fan hates him though, and he's not really respected because he plays the game like a punk. He makes Claude Lemieux look like a choir boy.
Tara was my immediate thought. BUT, like the rest of you, I don't consider her C. Even with the AP francise..That was so long ago!

I definitely consider Tara C list due to her previous fame and plastic surgery hijinks. That was recent enough that many people still know who she is. A 'D lister' is like that Dingo guy Enty posted about- you hear his name and say "who?" then you see his face and say "who?" then you a picture of his penis being shopped around for $100k and say "no thanks."

ReplyDeleteI guess Tara would make sense, but she's not C. More like F list. Her main job is to be a celebrity guest at parties in Australia, and I wouldn't doubt she's done some "escort" work to support her habits. Maybe Enty was being generous.
ReplyDeleteAs for A-Rod... wouldn't the C-lister be Kate Hudson? No way is Kate C-list. She's not A-list, but B+ list. And I doubt Kate would take the money either. Kate's not hard up for cash, whereas Tara's broke. I could see her asking for a generous payout to keep her mouth shut.
I would say Uma is either A or B list. Remember she was in Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill Franchise, both HUGE movies.
