US Weekly Takes The Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo Bait

It was there, swimming in the water just waiting for someone to pounce on it and finally US Weekly took the bait. To me this was better than when Jennifer Aniston holds her hands on her stomach. If you will recall, on Monday I wondered why no tabloid had caught on to the fact that Jessica Simpson was in the same room with Tony Romo and his new girlfriend. No one. It was like crickets.

Then, light bulb. Here is how I imagine the conversation going to at US.

Staffer 1 - ZOMG!!!! Do you know like Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were at the same party over the weekend?

Staffer 2- Well did they talk?

Staffer 1 - Who cares. They were there. Together. This is so exciting. I think I just peed.

Staffer 2 - Well what can we say they talked about?

Staffer 1 - Well, it was awkward and it was for five minutes. Oh, let's make it on the balcony. That sounds romantic even if Tony's girlfriend and her brother were there.

Staffer 2- OK, and to cover ourselves we will have a source who will say it wasn't awkward. Then we are right no matter what.

Staffer 1 - That is a lot of people on that balcony.

  1. It seems obvious to me that JS falls in love with guys partly based on whether she'll never have to work again if she marries them. JMO
She really needs a good guy; it's too bad she has such bad priorities.

  2. I find it hard to dislike Jessica, she seems like a nice person, unlike her sister who seems like a b*tch. Like libby, I just wish she would find a nice guy, not in show biz, who she could settle down and have kids with !

  3. And she def. needs a guy who likes meat, b/c she is just about at the age when the weight gets harder to keep off. I think she's hotter when she's heavy, but the shallow assholes in the entertainment scene would keep her miserable w/ dieting.

  4. An aside but was does ZOMG stand for. I see that on another celeb gossip site where the writers say it all the time.

  7. Sounds more like a planted story from her publicists for Jessica sympathy/attention.

And I still can't get that youtube clip of Asslee being so arrogant to a poor fast food worker. Yelling at her "don't you know who I am". Disgusting.
