$34M A Year Is Peanuts To Diddily Squiddily

Diddily Squiddily, otherwise known as Sean Combs, was on GMTV today in the UK. He said that he is really interested in replacing Simon Cowell on American Idol. Umm, doesn't he already have a show like that? Making The Band? Oh, wait that one is off the air now right? That is all we need from him. Creating an entire world filled with more Aburey O'Days. Anyway, he said that he is willing to talk salary with the American Idol producers and he does not even need as much as Simon. Simon was making about $34M a year and Diddily Piddily is willing to take less.

"As a matter of fact I have a new negotiation; I would take a five per cent cut on what he was getting. He was on something like $34 million, and that's peanuts."

Peanuts? Seriously? If you took 30 people each making $40,000 a year and they worked for 30 years that would be about $34M. I hate out of touch celebrities are with what is real and not real in this world. It makes me want to drink.

  3. I'm no big fan of Diddy at all. But, in the context of Diddy and how much he likely makes, a five percent cut off $35 million is peanuts; he can make that easily with another deal with VH-1. As out of touch that may seem compared to the average person, for the folks that roll with Diddy and Company, $1.75 million is a drop in the bucket.

I get class envy, but seriously, Enty, try getting Diddy on his recent pledge to not have more children out of wedlock -- right after hollowing out and impregnating Kim Porter and a whole number of women. That lack of moral fiber is worthy of criticism.

  4. It really is true that money doesn't buy class. For all of their money, people like old Piddle Puddle, Paris Hilton, and the whole Kardashian clan are still just piles of excrement on the sidewalks of society.

  5. I thought Simon made a lot more than $34 million. Anyway Diddy is pretty wealthy already. Just look at all of the child support payments he pays out and not once has he complained which means it isn't hurting his pockets.

  6. Judging by that mouthbreather's expression of confusion, I don't believe he has an accurate concept of money an numbers.

(lol @ "Piddle Puddle", I'm stealing that M.Bear!)

  8. I remember this picture from last year, it made me laugh in a sick way. He's staring at that $1 bill wondering how the hell it got into that fat stack of hundys. Ridiculous. Can't stand the guy - won't watch A.I. if he's on it.

  9. I'm with enty, people are seriously out of touch these days, not just celebrities, but athletes, wall street, executives etc. And people that try and defend it are just brainwashed. It's ruining our civilization and people better wake up before it's too late.

  13. You're beautiful, MommaBear. You tell it like it is.

One thing to his credit. One thing - Janelle Monae. Very talented girl.

If he's on A.I., does that mean we'll hear a lot about Ciroc and hear him say LET'S GO!!! about a hundred times?
