Chris Brown - Denied

Chris Brown won't be working in the UK or the Irish Republic anytime soon. Chris had been scheduled to play several concerts in in England and Ireland and Scotland but the UK would not give him a work visa. Why? Because he was convicted of a serious offense. I LOVE it. All countries in the world should keep him from making a living there. They can't do anything about record sales or having him visit as a tourist but they can keep him from coming to their country and working or appearing on television or anything else which would help him make money.

Concert promoters are telling people to hang on to their tickets because they think the dates can be arranged. Umm, it took Snoop four years to get a work visa again after being denied. Of course he did vandalize a British Airways lounge, a duty free store in a London airport and injured six police officers.

Still though, the general perception is that he is a nice guy and he spent lots of time and money and effort to get his work visa back. Chris Brown has none of that going for him and no talent.

  4. Good! He has shown no sincere remorse for what he did. He doesn't deserve a second chance until he earns it.

  6. With the van der snoot confession, Beverly and the UK, it is starting out as a good day. Now all we need is for Shannon Price to be thrown in jail and all would be right with the world.

  12. julie, the US does that as well. one of my friend just got detained at the US border for over 4hours because of a DUI he had 15 years ago...and he was just trying to go out for dinner with his very pregnant wife.oh and they would not let her use the washroom for over 2 hours while they did their investigation? yes, they do now have a lawyer.

    you just never know.

  15. @julie - I used to work at Immigration at the Airport border. We have discretion to let people in with a DUI or not. There's no way for us to know whether you have a DUI unless we look it up on the US system, which we probably won't do unless you give us reason. I remember one time I had an ASSHOLE director who came up to visit his actress girlfriend who was working here - chick from Twin Peaks - can't remember her name and he was being a PRICK about answering my questions so I ran a criminal check on him BECAUSE I WANTED TO. Bam - found he had a conviction for insurance fraud (bought his gfriend a set of boobs using his wife's insurance) and turned his ass around and had him heading back home on the next plane. Felt good.

  16. Chris Brown is a piece of shit. He's not only a wife beater, he's also racist against anyone darker than him: http://bossiptwitter.com/2010/05/19/twitter-files-breezy-goes-in-on-blogger-but-are-his-ugly-and-darkskinned-jokes-funny-to-you/

  18. *gaaaaaasp* LOL Bam lives like 2 miles from me, and my friends played (the band Evolv, if anyones heard of them) at his bar a couple weeks ago. He actually showed up, I couldn't find my keys and he's like "want a ride" (in a 2 seat audi R8 that already had 5 people in it) and I was like "No thanks" because he stole my skateboard in 1996ish and I have a chip on my shoulder.
the Lemonheads (and I'm friendly with Evan Dando) and my friends band (the courage pills) are opening... but I refuse to go because I don't want to give Bam anymore money. LOL

love living right outside west chester. its a like, hub.

  27. Wow...not only did they give us Dr. Who, but they also did this?
    Go Britain!

  28. ME: "Where are you from?" HER: "Europe." ME: "Well, Europe is a big continent." HER (brightening):"Oh, Latvia!" ME: "I know where Latvia is. On the Baltic, capital is Riga...." HER: "I'm surprised an American knows that!" I mean, I'm no genius, but for cryin' out loud, there is no country called "Europe." It's like when a kid I know calls Canada "Canadia," or actually asked, "When did Canada become a state?" The funniest, though, had to be someone in Bobby Brown's entourage trying to introduce him to the Dalai Lama and yelling, "Mister Lama! Mister Lama! Bobby Brown! Whitney Houston's husband!" while DL smiled, blissfully unaware of the opportunity he'd missed.
