Shannon Price Claims She Has A Will

Shannon Price filed a will in a Utah court yesterday which says that Gary Coleman left her everything. The will, which was handwritten and not notarized was allegedly written about a week after the couple got married. At the bottom of the will, Gary or someone pretending to be Gary wrote, "This I have done because of my own personal selfishness and weakness and I love her with all my heart." Does that even make sense? He is leaving her everything because of his own personal selfishness? The will was not witnessed or notarized. I imagine this whole thing is going to go to trial. In California, a holographic will like this would supersede the 1999 will that Gary's ex manager deposited with the court previously as long as it was signed by Gary and dated or a date could be established.

I would imagine there will be some type of trial and a handwriting expert brought into decide if it is Gary's writing on the will. I can just see her standing over him making him write the will and then putting it in a place where he could never get it back. She is such an evil person that I cannot imagine Gary would want her to have everything.

  2. Is there any possible way to have someone formally investigate this whole mess? I cannot believe the police are doing absolutely nothing. Every day Shannon Price does or says something that makes her seem even sketchier. From the minute she got on the phone to 911, she has seemed responsible for his death and seems totally without remorse. It's so heartbreaking that even in death she's fucking him over.

I want to smash her teeth in with a baseball bat.

I hope this gets thrown out and if the suppose will she has shows it's a fake for her to be charge for forging his handwriting. Somehow she has to pay for all the hording she is doing.

  4. Yes, but even if he did write that, he divorced her after this alledged will was made. So, does someone with more legal knowledge know how that would affect this?

  5. i'm sorry and will probably go to hell for this ,but when i read " I can just see her standing over him making him write the will and then putting it in a place where he could never get it back." - i pictured her hiding it in the top of the closet where he couldn't reach it......**ducks**

  6. She deserves nothing. How much did he even have? Fighting for every penny with a handwritten will she just happened upon? She is so vile. It's so sad that Gary had his parents and wife/ex prey upon him. I hope he had some people in his life that truly loved him.

  9. Plus, if this was truly his wish and he was fully aware of his precarious situation health wise, why didn't he have this written up formally by an attorney, so there would be no doubt that he wanted her to have everything? What a big toothed bitch.

  10. I'm with Jax on that my hate is growing more and more each day.

Sounds like she is just trying to force the estate to pay her off to go away vs. all the court costs to the estate from contesting the will.

I wish they would just liquidate the estate which isn't even that much and donate it all to a charity for ill children or helping underprivledged kids anything but her grubby hands.

  11. didn't his real will say that his estate would go to charity? too bad it was written before he married her and he didn't will her off to something like a science lab. (I know you can't will people off or whatever, just wishful thinking)

  12. shouldn't a divorce knock her claims of a will out of the water, enty?

  13. how could a will like that hold up in court? does it have to be notarized to be legal? with having one done previously, wouldn't he kind of know a will was something you might want to have notarized?

  14. I'm an attorney in Illinois, and here if you murder the testator, it nullifies any gift you'd receive in the will. (Not that Shannon killed Gary, but just sayin....)

  15. Handwriting expert, please.
At least his parents had the effing decency to say they won't be contesting any will.

  16. @ canadachick, you're not alone. I quickly pictured the top of the kitchen cabinets. lol. I'm only 5' so I can't even reach my 2nd shelf!

  17. I can't speak for CA law (I am a NY lawyer) but at least here, if you make a will leaving a gift to a spouse and then you get divorced and then don't update your will, the gift to your former spouse fails. You have to republish the will after the date of divorce for the gift to remain valid.

  21. It's amazing, when I think this person can't get any worse, she somehow makes this story even more horrible.

  22. fuck the will. i still want to know what really happened to him.

there are no words for how vile this bitch is. taking pictures of him while he's dying and after to SELL?? who DOES shit like that? no human being i'd care to know, that's for sure.

  23. Lothar, do you want me to bring a boom box, and play the "Of the Hill People" theme when you enter court? I owe you one, cause that was precisely what I was thinking!

  24. why, why, whyyyyyyyyyy did he hook up w/ this person?!

  25. They're divorced. She won't get anything from his estate.

Should his business manager get his money?
    Were they still close friends?
I hope it all goes to charity.

  26. why is she filing in utah? i'm willing to bet utah law says the will would stand (if it were legit) divorce or not.
well, if it can proved to be legit, it would stand anyway, wouldn't it?
but i think usually any estate w/o a will goes to next of kin, that's what happened when the asshole died--geez, we'd been divorced 21 years and the damn detective called ME (okay, actually he called my poor neighbor, because my phone # was unlisted. scared the poor guy to death!).

  29. So she just happens to have a non notarized will. What next, she had his sperm harvested and will have herself impregnated? I thought the parents were shady but this story worsens daily! What a sad life this guy lived.
