Today's Blind Items
This A list athlete (in his sport anyway) told his C list movie actress wife that he didn't want her anywhere near him during some press he is doing. He feels like she tries to take all the attention away from him and makes every conversation or interview about her projects and her life and totally ignores him.
Tony Parker ad Eva Longwhoria? Her movies suck, and if Enty added tv,it'd be too obvious...

ReplyDeleteEva's not exactly a movie actress though. They were the first to come to mind but I think it's someone else.
ReplyDeleteUmm, Enty would not describe Eva as solely a movie actress, since her main gig is on TV with DH.

the "A list (in his sport anyway)" part makes me think that this athlete is a soccer player - if you're an A list baseball/basketball/football player in the US you're an A list athlete, period. Plus it's World Cup time so it makes sense that the athlete would be doing press (and that he'd be A list to make the World Cup team). I would have guessed Landon Donovan but when I wiki'd him to check it turns out he divorced his actress wife so I am out of ideas.

ReplyDeleteI have no idea, but agree with supergroupie's line of reasoning. It's not an NFL, NBA, or MLB player. It's someone from a less popular sport that would only be an A-list athlete to the people who follow that sport. Soccer is a great guess especially with the World Cup. Also could be a hockey player. The Stanley Cup playoffs are still going on, aren't they? I'd really think it was hockey if they'd said fiance since there are a couple of hockey players engaged to actress/singers right now. Racing is also a good guess. I'd say Ashley Judd has slipped to C-list.

ReplyDeleteSounds like Tony and Eva, although Eva is a tv actress, she has done a few crappy movies as well. She IS C-list movie. Maybe Enty only said movie to make it a little harder to guess.

ReplyDeleteDario Franchetti is definitely A-list on the Indy car circuit but would definitely not pop into mind as an A-list athlete. That would explain the (in his sport anyway) comment. And Ashley is always at those races all dolled up and in some attention-grabbing hat. Dario and Ashley Judd FTW.

ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Andy Roddick and his wife Brooklyn Decker. She was the Sports Illustrated cover model this year and is doing some movie with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. The US Open starts soon so that would make sense why he is doing press. Also she's gotten a lot of media attention lately and maybe he's a bit jealous.

It's not Eva and Tony. #1, Tony's not A-list in the NBA. That's reserved for Shaq, Kobe and the like. #2, Eva's a television actress, not movies.

Eva has done movies though....I immediately thought of Eva/Tony. Wouldn't her movies be considered C list? Or lower?

I'm on the Dario/Ashley bandwagon. She acted really obnoxious at the Indy 500, climbing over crew and tv people to get at her husband. And she was dressed pretty oddly, too. His people got her out of camera range pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Dario and Ms. Judd. I know someone that worked for Dario's racing team, and found Ashley completely unbearable. Not to mention, she is more involved with charitable projects (one good thing about this bitty) than films these days. PLUS...the "A list athlete (in his sport...)" would be fitting for Dario's profession.
ReplyDeleteHave to agree this is Dario and Ashley. I think she made a point to tell the press, just after Dario's win, that she'd just gotten her Master's degree the day before, because after all, the Indy 500 is all about her educational pursuits.
ReplyDeleteI agree w/ the ashley guess- like @twocents said she does mostly charity work now and w/ the "projects and her life" clue it doesn't need to be movies. She was on the cover of Redbook earlier this year talking about her treatment for depression and charities. I read it at a doctors office after making sure i hadnt time traveled to 1999.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely Ashley and Dario. He's alot more than just winning the Indy 500 lately - he is the class of the field in US Open Wheel racing - which makes him A list, no question. And, she does always try to hog the spotlight away from him. He's totally a classy gentleman, and word is his racing friends tolerate her because he's just great.

ReplyDeleteShe was all over the place during the college b-ball finals. Plus I just saw a pic of her (not aging well, btw) waiting to testify at a Congressional hearing or something, looking serenely Grace Kelly-ish. I'm getting tired of seeing her, and I'm not even married to the chick.

This has to be Dario/Ashley. She is well-documented as a self-absorbed crazy bitch (albeit one who does lots of charity work). I've met them both, several years ago (the company I worked for at the time sponsored the Andretti Green racing team - Dario and another driver, Bryan somebody, came to a company event). Ashley tagged along. She was so pretentious -- wouldn't speak to anyone except her handler, and acted as if she was bored out of her mind. Dario OTOH was fantastic. And she did act really bizarre at the Indy this year. I thought maybe her rehab and therapy would have helped her - guess not.

ReplyDeleteNotachance, I used to say that too, but then I learned how physically punishing being a driver is, and that it requires extraordinary reflexes and control. You can't compare a driver to say a soccer player, but I'd say it definitely requires more athletic ability than golf. :)

ReplyDeleteThink it's Brady, Bundchen. Too obvious to call her model, so went with her c-list movie parts. He's doing press for Best Buddies, she's nowhere around. Usually together. Football fans are always giving him a hard time, calling him p-whipped. She always put her foot in her mouth in all her inter views. Bad-mouthing pregnant women,lecturing on enviroment while being hypocritical. His agent probably told him to distance himself.
