Tom Cruise Has Gone From Amazing To Incredible

Well whatever you want to say about Katie Holmes you can't say that she has not lived up to her part of the bargain in the whole Tom Cruise marriage thing. She drinks and spits out that Kool-Aid with just as much fervor as she always has.

In an interview with New York Magazine, Katie talks all about Tom and his incredible body of work and how he is an incredible man. Apparently the word of the year in Scientology is incredible. It replaces the word amazing which Katie put to such good use on Letterman a few years ago.

Well, we do collaborate on everything at home. But I mean, he’s Tom Cruise! His body of work is incredible. Every movie he’s done has done really well. I look back, and everything’s a classic. I definitely come home and say to him, “So, imagine a scene … how would you play it?” And he’s helpful and sweet and gracious. He’s quite an incredible human being.

Every movie has done well? Maybe from the Scientology rent a video program. I think she thinks it is still 2000 or something. It isn't like they are printing fake stories and delivering them to her in a fake newspaper either because she says she is aware of the speculation about her marriage. Her answer though is bizarre.

Do you read the various speculations about your marriage?
It’s there, it’s one of those things. My big concern is what does he have going, what do I have going, what are we going to do this weekend. It must seem weird, I guess, having so many people watching. It is weird. I get it. But you just, you know, smile and nod.

It's almost like the little transmitter in her ear went screwy for a second or the person who was giving her the right answer took that moment to eat something because the answer does not answer the question. If someone asked you that question is that how you would answer it?

Judging from the picture above Katie Holmes is 8 feet tall and shows us how she would crush Tom if he were a bug and not her husband. But, he is so he is incredible and Suri is her fashion guru and everything is perfect and the Kool-Aid tastes yummy.

  2. OT...I accidentaly clicked on labels and meth came up and voila.

It is a blind item update. Make sure you read the comments too. Enty is all over them. Were anonymous comments allowed back then?

Enty, loved the blind updates. Can you do that again?

  3. I want to know who told her she could dance. I would like to go up and slap that person and then buy them a pair of really good glasses.

  4. actually I thought her favorite word was "magical"

  5. I don't think I've ever seen that Letterman interview before. She is not a very good liar. You can tell this is at the beginning of their relationship. She doesn't have that dead look in her eye yet.

  6. I agree with MCH...she's not a good liar, it looks so weird and uncomfortable.

"But you just, you know, smile and nod" What a sad life..

  7. haha, this is actually a hilarious post... I wonder if we are going to be able to spot some of Toms acting in Katies movies from now on?

The only thing I can remember her working on is her Jackie O, and I BET Tom did an excellent job with that one.

  8. I think she looks pretty great in that photo, the stylist for the magazine knew how to flatter her body much better than she does on her own.

It was so awkward in the interview when she was all "MY MAN!"

  9. @sunnyside -Wow, CDAN has really changed a lot since it first started. Even the commentors are different!

Change isn't necessarily a bad thing. He said back then he didn't do regular posts, just blind items. I like Enty's snarky posts, so I'm glad that's added that to the blog. I do like the updates to blinds though. Haven't seen that in a while.

    ReplyDelete
  10. @ Karmen, I know. CDAN has evolved tremendously. I wish Enty would comment more. It's a rarity now. And where did all those commenters go?

    ReplyDelete
  11. @ sunnyside: Enty used to put us on Anon-allowed on Fridays for certain deep-secret Your Turns, etc., but it has been a while.

Yes, it does seem like a longer and longer time ago since Enty was mainly sending us stuff that was "entertainment industry Attorney-sounding," but I don't dwell on it.

Have always liked the blog too much to care, really, but I do miss the old content, which seemed more "insider-ish" at the very least.

My guess is he found a special someone with perhaps 5th (or is it 6th?) wife-potential so he has given a lot of the posting to someone else...IF there was ever even an Entertainment Lawyer under it all to begin with.

  12. It's clear that Katie was never really a rocket scientist, or a particularly gifted actor.

I don't know that she's necessarily dumber now than she used to be.

If it hadn't been for Tom Cruise, would she be in Michelle Williams' career position now, or James Van Der Beek's? My money is on the latter.

  13. speaking of which - i have been gone quite a bit this summer, and I went to check on that other site (crazy lies etc) and see what they had been up to, and it was closed down! Anyone know whats up with that? Did Anna get bored, or was there something more dramatic?

    ReplyDelete
  14. @selenakyle, yes I had forgotten the anon your turns. I never used that feature, but many did. I agree, things used to be more lawyer like and the blinds were more about Hollywierd and not about the reality scum.

I am LOL at potential wife # next. I thought he was up to 8.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @linnea, it was more dramatic with a sudden disappearance over a weekend if I recall correctly.

  16. Wow.
I had never seen Katie's interview from early on in their relationship and I was floored.
Its so sad to see her kinda in the early stages of selling her soul to the devil so to speak.
So is definitely much more animated and youthful and its hard to believe this was only a few yrs ago.
I think, despite how she thought the whole shame was gonna work out, this constant lie of a marriage is taking its toll on her.

As for Tom- I really never have believed the rumors he was gay but you kinda have to wonder now. I mean why else would Tom Cruise settle for a fake marriage to someone I doubt he has anything in common with?

  17. *I meant 'SHE is definitely more animated...
    not SO

I hope he is reading this thread because I fell the same way as many here. Something needs to be done. Heck, if he wants to take off and have an extended Labor Day, fri-mon, to revamp this blog, I'm okay with that.

There can't be enough real, "outrageous" dirt to do blinds every, single day. A few days of the week would be nice. I don't give an eff about puesdo celebs or crappy reality tv stars. Which is what many of the blinds have come to.

If dlisted has done the story, it shouldn't be seen here. Different is okay.

  19. I am sick of this foolish women and her foolish comments about her foolish life and foolish family.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I wouldn't mind if there were less posts. It actually takes me a LONG time to get through this site daily, because I need to real all your great comments!

    ReplyDelete
  21. @Lana, I agree about the length. I usually skip the pictures and the reality stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I there Ent had a post where he mentioned that if he kept sharing the intimate stories and real smutty stuff that it wouldn't take long for people to figure out who he was.

And once people start to figure it out, he obviously can't keep posting on the site otherwise people won't trust him with their secrets anymore.

So I would rather have the stupid reality star blinds and keep the site alive than have it shut down because he shared too many personal stories.

  24. I like all of it, articles, pictures and comments. To be fair to Enty I've heard that there really isn't that much news from the celebrities anymore that's why so many websites, tabloids etc. are now commenting on the reality people (I refuse to call them celebs.).

In regards to Katie I guess she finally got tired of using the word "amazing" to describe Suri and Tom. She also said that Suri is her stylist and dressed her for the Met Ball when she was just 1 1/2 years old.

Please Katie you might want to put it on mute until your brain and mouth or working together.

  25. Anna at Crazy Lies posted the identity of someone she thought was the real Enty Lawyer, and my guess is the guy had her pull down the blog. She mentioned something about getting a cease and desist message before it disappeared. I know a lot of what Enty says about himself is just made up to be a funny character, but from the few things I believe to be fact, the guy she posted about was not him.

    ReplyDelete
  26. And yes, "real" celeb gossip has slowed way down, so there's less juicy stuff to talk about. :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. *love me some enty*

awww katie...i was really liking 'amazing'.

    hope the contract's worth it!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't care, I think the contract is definitely worth it and she made the right decision.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "Amazing" is so three years ago. "Incredible" is even on the way out. I'm really hoping for a comeback of the word "awesome", myself.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I never bothered to read Crazy Lies. Even if you don't like the site or Enty, there's no point in directing that much hate towards someone.

Once it was taken down I was sad I didn't get to read the bullshit she posted while I had the chance. Her sources must be shitty if she mistook someone else for Enty.

And who cares if he posts some of the same stories as Dlisted? Michael K obviously has to get his sources from somewhere else.

gossip sites direct hatred towards any and everyone daily. it's all fair game on the net.

  33. @Karmen - I read it once - it was so far-fetched and obsessive about "outing Enty" it was hilarious. Apparently they had a theory that jax and I were the same person and that monkeys fly out of Mel Gibson's butt. In any case, it wasn't worth giving its crazy owner the website hits to keep up with her nutjob theories.
I have a lot of questions about Enty's claims about his life, too, (my main one is: if he's a lawyer, why does he live in his parents' basement?? Can alimony BE that bad??) but I'm not going to dedicate a website to it!

    ReplyDelete
  34. @r2d2 - Touche. I simply meant that the monomania needed to dedicate all that hatred and desire to out a single person is petty, stupid and a little creepy.

@RQ - Monkeys flying out of Mel Gibson's butt? Aw man, I really wish I had read it now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @RQ (just saw your new post) - You'd be surprised how much people will gripe about alimony. My dad bitched about it so much that he didn't turn on the heat (to save money) in the dead of winter. The pipes froze and all the water burst over his precious hardwood floors.

Oh, but before that happened, it was miserable to take those cold showers at his house. Instead, my sister and I would have to wake up super early to go to the gym so we could work out and use the showers there before school. Yes, he was willing to pay for a gym membership, but not for heat. This man had his priority so far out of whack.

  36. If Enty is a lawyer, why didn't he think of a prenup?

    ReplyDelete
  37. I actually love this photo of Kati and her 6' tall legs. She looks good and vivacious. Feel sorry for her stupidity and kool-aid activity, but nada for Cruise.

    ReplyDelete
  38. "If Enty is a lawyer, why didn't he think of a prenup?"

    I think it's because he's a romantic. :)

    ReplyDelete
  39. And from her posts, the ex, "Carli," seems pretty amazing, so I'm not surprised he was too besotted to get a prenup.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I looked at the Crazy Lies site once or twice, and thought about it recently, but found that the site has been removed, but I'm still not sure why.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Katie Holmes is pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I never found her acting very riveting or believable and to see this clip of her on Letterman... I feel embarrassed and sorry for her. For whatever reason (she wanted fame; she was flattered at the attention; she genuinely thought she was in love) she drank the Koolaid and now we are treated to her lackluster performances in movies and plays, staged showings of Suri trotted out before the cameras and the odd, uncomfortable handhold/kiss with time, also staged for the paps.

She allegedly comes from a nice, Catholic family. I wonder what they think about all this and the COS meddling in her life?
