Angus T. Jones Gets A $15M Birthday Present

Angus T Jones may be the luckiest kid in the world. A few years ago he got plucked from bit role obscurity and put on Two And A Half Men. Well, today is Angus' 17th birthday and he just signed a new contract that will pay him $300K an episode plus a $500K signing bonus. So, what that means is that over the next two years, Angus will make $14.9M for his 48 episodes. Yep, almost $15M. Everyone else on the show is getting paid huge bucks so I guess the kid should too. I can't even imagine what Charlie Sheen told him to spend it on. Probably hookers and blow. Oh, and really good lawyers for when you threaten to kill your wife. Why does Charlie even bother getting married?

  1. He's worth every cent...this kid delivers his well written lines to perfection. He is the best part of that show!

  2. I agree - I only watch the shows in syndication that are on late at night, and I can take Charlie's character or leave him, but Angus is funny as heck! I hope he turns out to be a child star who transitions well into an adult... and that he's kept away from Sheen's influence.

  3. how much do we want to bet that this kid was conceived after a drunken night of ac/dc songs on a trans-am's stereo?

  5. He really does deliver his lines well. The kid and the mother/grandmother are really the diamonds in an otherwise crappy show.

  6. Wonderful comic timing. I hope for great things for him after the show ends its run!

  7. Why does Charlie Sheen get married? Probably to keep his parents happy inasmuch as I recall Martin Sheen was a devout Catholic.

  9. I catch this show on syndication (I feel like it's played at least four times a day right now) and this kid is definitely the best part of the show - glad to see some of the ridiculous salary paid to the cast is going his way.

  10. It's just amazing how much money this shitty show makes!

  11. That depresses me. However, I hope he gets good advice and doesn't piss it all away. He needs a good and honest money manager.

  12. He obviously has a better agent than the teenager who plays Dora the Explorer. She may want to give this kid a phone call.

  13. Gee Enty, it's too bad that you couldn't have just congratulated Angus on his good fortune and being paid what his fans believe he is worth -- no, you had to bring Charlie Sheen into it and ruin the whole thing. Way to go.
