The Beckhams Go For Number 4

I don't think anyone really saw this one coming. Over the weekend, The Beckhams announced they are expecting their fourth child. Probably trying for a girl this time. This will also probably help all those rumors about the couple and those hooker stories from late last year.

Their spokesperson said they were looking forward to welcoming a new boy or girl in the summer. I never got the feeling that Victoria really wanted another baby so I am wondering if this might have been an accident. It seems like they are pretty busy right now almost everyday so to add another baby seems like a lot. What do you think? Accident or planned?

  1. A married couple certainly has permanent options available to them to ensure they don't have another baby if they don't want to. Planned and congrats.

  2. Planned. Victoria Beckham has absolute complete control of everything entering her body.

  3. I think Pish will keep spitting out babies for a long time. She seems to genuinely like her family. I vote for planned.

  4. Who knows. Im just surprised she was able to conceive because she is so damn skinny(I had to gain 20 for it to happen for me)
Good for them! I hope the baby is healthy - boy or girl, planned or not.

  5. Totally planned and they make absolutely adorable children. Hope this one is a girl. If so, she would sure be a stunner!

  6. Planned

Isn't there a procedure with a high success rate of having a girl?

    They have the money...
I know a lot of religious people don't believe in using this procedure, and I'm not saying they used it, but I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

  7. Not only planned, but done very, very careful with gender selection. Boy or girl - nice try. She's a girl. Trust.

  8. @HannahPalindrome - I know someone who did undergo some help trying to conceive a girl, after having 3 boys. She went on to have twin boys. She maintained a sense of humor about it - don't mess with mother nature - she'll bite you in the ass.

  9. Planned. Good luck to them!! In this day and age a little girl would need at least 3 brothers and a father to defend her against all the ugly in the world.

  10. Don't care. They don't need anymore kids. If they desire one, they should adopt a child.

  11. Planned. She probably plans her bowel movements a month in advance.

I don't know but with all the rumors of his wominizing who knows. They always pretend to be the prefect married couple which I doubt very much they are not.

  13. Don't care about these two. Their time is expired.

  14. As much as I want to hate them, I just can't. They truly love each other. They have family values when together and love their children.

They just cannot handle the fame. I think they understand that about each other.

And if given the chance, I'd do things to him that would rock his world.

  15. Congrats! They both seem like caring and loving parents.

  16. Planned. Victoria has said in interviews that she would like to have a fourth child, and would love to have a girl.

  17. Planned. She has come out and said that she has PCOS, which can cause problems conceiving. It's possible that it was unplanned but unlikely.

  18. I have a great way to help you have a girl instead of a boy and it is 50% effective!!!

  19. @Ice Angel LOL. Thanks, I needed a laugh! :)

I'm sure they planned this one. As for gender, we'll find out this summer. I don't think there's a 100% method to determining gender at conception (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

  20. One of their kids is in my nephew"s class. I saw DB at a school thing, and he is a great attentive father. Very nice, and easy on the eyes! The kids are good kids too, which is a welcome sight in this shitty town. I'm told she's not around much, but that she's a nice person, so, good on 'em.

  21. Planned and if they were dead set on having a girl Posh could have undergone IVF then PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis). PGD is usually only used when there are chromosomal issues and you are trying to only put back the normal embryos, but some clinics will tell you the sex of the healthy embryos and the couple can choose which to put back.

  22. All the haters must be at lunch. Planned, gender selection with or without rented womb.If you want to read something funny, go to the UK Daily Mail and read the comments on any Beckham story. Beckaloonies could give the Brangeloonies a run for the money.

  23. Accident. I think that no one saw this coming it's definitely an accident. Probably happened after some make up sex after a heated discussion about the hooker stories.

  24. I just call it lucky.

  25. I'm sure it was planned. And I hope she gets a girl!

  26. Planned ! - she has said she would like a 4th. They look like parents who like their kids and pay attention to them - so congrats to them, hope she gets a girl !

  27. I vote for planned and wish them the best. LOL at all the haters being offline.

  28. I wish them well. They do seem to love their kids. Someone told me once about how to have a girl and how to have a boy, and it worked, I have one of each, as hoped. The person who told me had 2 girls, just to piss off her husband who really wanted boys (they are now divorced). It's all to do with timing conception around ovulation, "male" sperm swim faster but "female" sperm live longer... I can explain further if you really want me to :)

  29. Planned. Surrogate?

    ReplyDelete
  30. @shakey. Probably. The Daily Mail has been saying that VB is rarely seen while pregnant and will definitely have a C section. The funny thing is that they slip this into articles about her all the time, even before she announced her pregnancy. They even explained the scar tissue she has and the risks of pregnancy in older women. I'm pretty sure that the Beckham's PR people work with the Daily Mail so they will have a ready explanation of why they used a surrogate.

  31. She JUST gave an interview saying she had given up hope of having the baby girl she always wanted, so either this was an accident or she's a liar. I don't frankly care which.

    What's the secret!! Tell!

  33. Sorry, I'm still in shock at the fact she's considered older at what, 36??? I had my kids at 36 and 37. With apologies to everyone else: Hannah, going from memory here, it was 15 yrs ago. I was told that if you know when you ovulate, have intercourse that day and it will be a boy, as the male sperm swim faster and will reach the ovum first. If you do it 2-3 days before ovulation, the male sperm die off and only the female sperm are left around, and one of them will fertilize the egg. Don't know if it's a load of crap but it worked for us and for friends. I'm sure someone with a medical background will laugh their butt off at me, but hey, who knows?

  34. I think it's a girl and she deserves to have one. They seem like a loving family even if he cheats on her - says on Lainey he loves her very much and thinks she is the perfect wife. (because of the don't ask don't tell policy)

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Lynette, I've heard the same thing and that you can do it even 4-5 days before ovulation if you want a girl.

    So, planned. And a girl.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I know this is way late but I have to concur with Lynette. I did the same thing while trying for a boy (after previously having a girl randomly)and it worked.
