This is actually three rather than four. It happens.
These two singers are B list although one of them probably has close to A list name recognition. Both male. Anyway, it turns out that when they worked on a project together they ended up falling for each other. So far, it is being covered up for the sake of one of them who is involved with a woman.

ReplyDeletemeh. The Kris and Adam thing was fueled by fans and fan fiction websites. I believe they became friends, and Adam may have had a crush on him, but I don't believe either one of them got into the other's pants.

Kris Allen is B list? He may have won idol but I don't see it. Lambert I agree is B and he is much bigger than Allen.

Kris is married. And he's toured with Maroon 5 & Keith Urban so he's definitely been booking steady work. It sounds like it could be him.

ReplyDeleteI am seriously LOLing at anyone believing this horsecrap. Kris isn't gay and he and Adam were never involved romantically. Adam said Kris was cute and distracting, that's it. No talk of any romance and Kris flirted right back to play to the fans. Adam seems to be happily in an exclusive relationship with a man he met while on his world tour. They just vacationed together in Bora Bora.
ReplyDelete@shannon - this blind was 9 months ago, long before Adam was dating the man he's with now. Anything with Kris or whoever it is could well be over by now. Also, why would you think that someone who is in a relationship is always, 100%, faithful? Plenty of stories out there of people not being faithful to their significant others. I am seriously LOLing at you for believing that this couldn't happen. If you think it's all horsecrap, the exit door is just over to the top of your browser. I agree that this site is becoming more and more of a let down. I donated money to the cause, but I didn't realize it meant that this site would practically come to a crawl with the postings. Sad...I mean, I do wish Enty the best with the radio show...but lets not forget the fans who love the site. :)

ReplyDeleteG, there was a later blind I'd forgotten about that referred back to this one and it was pretty clear it was Adam and Kris. Not sure who else it could be. But time will tell, unless that affair is over? That other blind talked about a divorce, I'm pretty sure.

Those Academy Award posts didn't post themselves. I'm tempted to be forgiving of Enty on this one. In fact, I'm wrapping myself in a blanket and turning on my videocamera in order to make a Kris Krocker video: "Leave Enty alone! He's a human!!!"

As for the girl who donated money, I think she is entitled to question what is going on. She gave her money in good faith. That's not being ungrateful. I'm sure she works hard for her money like everyone else does so she's curious where it went. JMHO. She put it a lot nicer than I would if we were talking about my money.
Oh and I think it's Jamie Fox btw. He is B list in music. Can't be Timberlake. He's A list music.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading this site for approximately 3 years. I have noticed in the last 4 months that the posts are less frequent, stop earlier in the day and the writing is slightly different. I started to notice the changes around the time CDAN's Facebook page was created. I'm not "blaming" anyone, but perhaps Enty isn't as motivated as "he" used to be, or this blog has peaked and will never be as good again. That said, I'll keep reading and posting.

A little bit before the time that ENTY asked for donations because of the cost of the photos, I noticed a change in the writing style, quality of the blinds, etc. Less of the general bitchiness towards certain stars/personalities without reason. Now, lots more photos, less juicy blinds.
Anyone lately remember blinds on the order of CokeMom, MV or shimmy?
A story on the order of his European sex tour? Becuase Enty isn't Enty.
The veiled directives to friends of his in the industry like Dominique Swain or The Zoey? Because Enty isn't Enty.
Now we got lots more basement/fat/ bacon references to attempt to keep up the Enty persona, however.. ENTY ISN'T ENTY.

I don't think the performers interact much with the contestants, so I'm guessing it's a mentor or fellow contestant. No judges that season were also singers. So I'll narrow the list to:
- Jamie Foxx
- Smokie Robinson
- Randy Travis
- Danny Gokey
- Kris Allen
- Matt Giraud ?
I'm betting it's Danny or Kris or Matt - with Matt questionable, since I'm not sure he'd be considered B list back then. Danny & Kris had higher profiles, however. The reason I tend to think it's not a mentor is that if the two fell for each other, they'd need to have spent more than 1 or 2 days together. Mentors come in and out quickly, but contestants are in close quarters all the time.
Fry a pound of bacon in memory of the Enty of old, and chase it with three pints of Haggen-Dazs and a dozen freshly dressed Krispy Kremes.
ReplyDelete@valerie Well Kris is the only one of those three who was involved with a woman during the show. He and Adam talked a lot about how they shared a bedroom for the whole competition. He also had a pretty decent hit with Live Like We're Dying around the time this blind item came out. That may make him B list. I think he might be the best guess

I agree RocketQueen. The anger is strange and unfounded. He's allowed to take a day off, especially if he's sick! And this was a pretty juicy reveal, Adam Lambert is headline news these days, and if he had an affair with the squeaky clean winner of Idol, I'd expect that to cause quite a stir.

ReplyDeleteI remember the second BI- I think it was in Nov or Dec- that may have mentioned divorce. I thought it might be Kris and Adam at that time and this clinches it for me. Many people come out while married. Maybe that happened with Kris. If so, I hope we have an opportunity to hear his story. So many don't realize the faultless nature of recognizing/accepting one's sexual orientation after heterosexual marriage, Hard to own sometimes, thanks to the homophobic culture we live in, especially in the entertainment industry. Happens all the time, folks

ReplyDeleteI think we all need to remember, that during the run of AI, Adam flat out refused to come out, even though it was glaringly obvious he was gay. Maybe he thought he would lose votes if he did and he probably would have actually. So, if this is Kris, maybe he is taking the same route hoping no one will find out. He wouldn't be the first person to stay in the closet to keep his job. And again, if this is Kris, he wouldn't be the first young person to get married hoping it will "cure" him.

ReplyDeleteThanks for recounting Adam's strategy during Idol. As soon as it was over Adam did the cover of Rolling Stone. There he explained that he waited until voting ended to talk about his sexual orientation- did not want people to stereotype him (read discriminate). Until season 8, gay contestants were routinely shown the door during auditions with not-so-subtle feedback like, "You are too Broadway." Ironically, a number of contestants have had significant success in musical theater after their Idol turns.
Stay in the closet to keep a job? Adam was DADT until the show ended for that very reason, and it is no stretch to think Kris may be waiting until his time is right as well.

ReplyDeleteLOL. Why would he need to, when Bill O'Reilly gleefully televised the pictures of Adam kissing his ex boyfriend and they hit the news right before Top 13.
Adam has said in interviews that he was torn, he is proud of who he is but he wanted the competition to be about his singing not his sex life. So when asked about the pictures by a reporter at the Top 13 party, he simply said, "You know what, I have nothing to hide. I am who I am. And this is about singing ... nothing else."
Between that and the plethora of youtubes of him in all his pre-Idol glory, Adam was not exactly cowering in the closet.
It's supposed to look like Kris and Adam but it's more likely someone no one would have thought.
