National Enquirer Blind Item

WHAT blockbuster director is getting hate mail left on the front gate of his California mansion because of his proposed compound expansion?

Neighbors are at war and forcing the sci-fi movie mogul to scratch his plans for a mini-film studio!

Lucas? More Sci-Fi than Cameron, but doesn't he have a ranch outside CA?

  7. Just saw this on Friday ---- Ron Howard is building an addition at his house on Mullholland Drive - just across the street from the first overlook stop!

  8. oops - missed the sci-fi part - Howard does have a big-ass addition being constructed now, but sci-fi would eliminate him...

  15. Skywalker Ranch is quite secluded up in Marin, and most of Lucas' media corps have moved from there down to the Presidio. Lucas wouldn't need to build a huge home studio with the LucasFilms facilities five minutes away. Plus he pretty much has carte blanche from the city to build whatever he wants at the LucasCo complex in the Presidio.
