Ricky Gervais' New Show Looks Hilarious

Please be on BBC America so I don't have to wait until 2012 to see this on HBO.

  1. Ricky's laugh kills me. Love it. I love his radio show where he picks on poor Carl Pilkington.

  5. ^^I'll be darned. How many years were they incarcerated? To me, it always sounded like one of the parents committed the murders.

  6. I will watch anything involving Ricky Gervais. Fact.
Although "The Invention of Lying" was really terrible.

  8. Why is Ricky still originating shows on the Beeb? He could write his own ticket in the US market.

  10. Aww RocketQueen- the Invention of Lying wasnt THAT bad, sheesh.
I could think of 50Hollywood movies off the top of my head that were WAY worse.

What I like the most about Ricky is that he does his own thing, he seems to not have compromised his artistic integrity for hollywood or for celebrity. Also I like that he writes and produces his own shit and is loyal to the core group of people that he works with.

Plus he's been with the same woman for way over a decade, at least, and I just think that's really cool.

And Jessica, take a look at Ricky and then take a look at some of the other comedian types out there. I mean c'mon, Dane Cook?! Please

  13. I thought The Invention of Lying was quite brilliant and hilarious--it lined up with many of my beliefs (or lack there of) on religion and soical lying, etc.

I was laughing so hard from the start that I wasn't able to really focus on the clip.

Enty, I read that it will be on HBO in 2012.

I wish he'd done more seasons of Extras! I loved that show!
