George Clooney Calls US Weekly Liars

You can pretty much say anything about George Clooney and he will not sue you or even respond. It is just his way of dealing with the tabloids. He ignores and then they go away. It is a good strategy. But, if you talk about someone else in conjunction with him then you better have everything correct or he gets upset. Apparently US Weekly ran a report that said Elisabetta Canalis sent George nasty texts when she found out he was dating Stacy Keibler. I could see that happening, but George says nothing like that happened.

" I never comment on my personal life unless it affects others... and this lie affects others. Since I would be the only actual witness, I ask you to correct your story immediately, but that would assume you cared at all about telling the truth."

He must know how they are with Jennifer Aniston baby stories. Can you imagine if George Clooney and Jennifer Aniston dated? The tabloid world would explode. Here you have one of Brad Pitt's best friends dating Jennifer Aniston. The opportunity for headlines would be never ending.

  1. Huh. I was starting to really dislike George (for the obvious cheap tricks in paving his road to Oscar), but with this, I'm liking him again. Quite a Gentlemanly act I say.

  2. I agree Rita. It was very nice of him to defend her like that.

I would luuuurve it if Jen A & George hooked up! It would never last, but the tabloids would explode! She looks happy with Justin right now though, so hopefully that all works out for her.

  3. Just another reason to love George Clooney. : )

  4. MacVixen - Jen cannot give the harsh loving the way George is reputed to like it. I think she will break down and cry for hurting someone physically so much... (Wonder though what would happen if she gets stuck in an elevator with Angelina? I would certainly pay to see that).

Am sure she got her kink on with that ex douche John Mayer, but I think George is into another level of kink.

  5. I like this. You actually BELIEVE someone when they deny something if they normally make a habit of not yapping about their public lives. Well done, George. No one has ever said he treated his exes like dirt.

that would almost be worth wasting a "Genie" wish on.

  7. George always justifies my crush! And, yes, I would love it if Jen and George dated. The publishers of the tabloids would probably just spontaneously combust. I would also love for him to date Sandra Bullock.

  9. @Rita - whoa, I had no idea George was into the kink! (I've heard so many gay rumors, I guess I've bypassed the kink ones, lol). Like BDSM stuff? Interesting, very, very interesting....

  11. MacVixen - yes. that is why Elizabetta lasted so long. He didn't need to show her the ropes, pun intended, she new her way around them already.

Lainey Gossip had a blind regarding this, around the time he had a broken arm (or wrist, I can't remember). It seems he knows when to curb his kink, as in during filming.

And people wonder why he picked Keibler: she's a wrestler for poop's sakes! She knows how to manhandle him.

  15. FS - wow, did not see that one coming. I see this is going to be one of them 'thigh-highs' and whipping posts. Talk about girl power!

As for George, yes, lately, he does deserve a spanking.

Wait, would rather spank Ryan Gosling.

  16. I just can't see George as the 'bottom' in an BDSM relationship ... can't see it. BDSM is really fun & exciting with the right partner. My hubby & I have practice BDSM for 12 yrs. Never gotten hurt once.

  18. Maja. Why Banana? I would've thought it'be 'Brad Pitt'.

  19. My guess is Tootie for his safe word.

  20. Although it's really romantic to think George is a hero coming to the aid of an ex, I think it's probably more along the "if the ex gets ripped apart in the public eye, has no income, she's more likely to resort to a tell-all-book".

  21. Jen shoulda made the move with Clooney years ago, but I can't ever see him dating her.

Very nice of him to make his ex not look like a psycho!
